Had a blast and can't wait to go back. Already having HPDE withdrawals. Anyhow, I met up with a buddy at Summit Point and did their HPDE1 over the weekend. Instructor told me my car is built very solid (mods and settings are balanced) and my skill level is advanced for being brand new. Coolant and cylinders head temps were good. Brakes did not fade all weekend.

Video below is from my 3rd session. Will work on braking harder and accelerating out of corners faster next track event.

Hey, good to see you finally made it to Summit Point for an HPDE! Looking good.

You might want to reconsider the 5W20 engine oil for the road course though.

You're running 3 x 30 minute sessions per day - high temperatures and RPMs.

Man, I love Summit Point. Shenandoah Circuit is my favorite track, though. Hyperfest is a good time. Lots of cars? The weather looked nice.

You have a nice car! Damn there are some serious competitors there.

That's what I was thinking.

Were there any other street cars there besides your? They all look like dedicated track/race cars.

Oh yeah, I'm jealous. Want to do a track day so bad!

There were plenty of street cars out there, I just happened to snap pics of the folks running the wheel-to-wheel race groups.
