I know i'll be going with BMR when i do my entire suspension.. was gonna go with whiteline but got slapped by a member on here and told me to go with the best! which was my first choice but I wanted to cheap out and buy whiteline lol

Cheap out? Have you SEEN their stuff? Have you done ANY research? Just because Whiteline is new to the US does not mean their cheap. It means you haven't done any research. Don't get me wrong BMR has great products and are great straight line suspension. I have a set of their control arms on my 06 but I am switching over to full Whiteline suspension and I can tell you first hand that all of the pieces that I have from Whiteline are top notch kit. I am actually doing research on BMRs and Agent 47s K Member because I will be purchasing one of them soon. Don't believe look at Terry Fairs and Marc S build thread. Do some research on the Australian V8 Super cars. Look at some of the top Drifters and Time Attack guys. Before you go saying something is cheap do some research yourself and don't let people tell you what THEY want you to run. Cheap... Jesus.:wtf1:

Call me up.

As for straight line, that is false sir.

Made specifically for Handling. I know you are a Whiteline druggy, but these are above and beyond what their LCA will do on a handling combination. ;)

Those are nice arms! I just didn't want the rod ends because of the noise and harshness. That is true I shouldn't say BMR is all straight line. I just know when I originally got this car I was told (assumed and we all know what that means) that BMR, UPR, UMI was all geared to the drag guys and places like Griggs, Whiteline, Cortex etc were for the handling guys. I actually have a set of your arms on my 06 right now but since I am having to use it to do my project instead of the FR tub :)rant:)all the Whiteline will be going on it now.

I do agree though, most people do not really need to run a rod-end on their street cars. That being said, I always have/do....but I may be a little "hard-core" lol

I think the "tech" in this thread has pretty well been exhausted, so I just wanted to comment on this.

I'm the same way Kelly. I generally use sphericals everywhere. They just don't bother me.

Anyway, I had a customer who happened to be here in town this week and he wanted me to look at his car because he felt like it was too noisy. (the only suspension mod was non-factory shocks) It was an '03 Mach 1, and you know how differently that chassis rides when compared to the S197. Anyway, I drove my S197 to his place, got out, and drove his Mach 1. Friggen thing rode like a Lincoln, smooth and quiet! (I think the noise he was hearing was an interior panel rattle) Anyway, I was like, "let me show you 'noisy'...". Then I took him for a ride in my car and he was mortified!! :omfg: (and that car is mostly poly)

It's just funny how people have different perceptions. I always run sphericals in my Foxes, and my S197 happens to be mostly poly. Both combos have more NVH than a stock Mustang, but it just doesn't really bother me. It does make doing this job a little more complicated though. We have to sort of size up the customer and predict how they will respond to the mods we recommend. It's interesting!

Most of the parts are here, and being installed now! The shop just asked me which hole I wanted to use on my upper control arm mount. Not sure about that though?

I think I have pretty much read everyone uses the middle hole on the lowers, but I can't recall anything for the uppers. Any feedback?

Give me the low-down on your suspension. Is it stock height?

It's stock roush stage 3 height... which I "think" is an inch lower than a stock GT. The Roush forum that I would usually be able to find all this info on easily has pretty much been down for the past 5-6 weeks :(

I will continue to search for a for sure answer though.

*UPDATE*
Found an article confirming it is 1 inch lower!

If it is 3/4" or more, lower than a factory height GT....install the UCA in the upper-most position on the UCM.

The LCA, it will be a good idea to start in the middle, then you can go up or down based on how the car reacts, and what you are looking for.

The upper control arm mount holes. The top most hole is the stock location correct?

Also curious on this. Have 2 positions on mine and need to know which one to put it in on a car 2+ inches lower than stock.

The upper position is the stock position.

If you lower the car more than 3/4" from the stock ride height, you will have your best results using the upper position on the UCA, and utilizing the LCA Relocation brackets to set your IS/AS%.

Of course, all cars are different, but that is my recommendation based on helping with thousands of set-ups.
