The new one is not plastic and it has a bigger bore, to push more fluid, so the clutch will release quicker. I am planning on putting it on my 09.

It was supposed to be done today but the shop has cars still on the hoist FML!!!

So I made an appointment with a better shop for next friday.

The major difference between this one and our OEM is the inside diameter has been increased to accommodate more volume.

And of course the metal body.

I can't confirm the inner dimension or volume increase, that was all in magazine.

Get it installed? I now have both versions sitting here and there is a huge difference from what I can see on the length of the rod when at rest.

WTF?
Great pic, I am in the middle of a shut down at the moment.
It's going to be a few weeks before I throw it in.
I wonder if there will be an issue as the pedals in the gt500 have a helper spring.
Maybe they redesigned the mounting position?

Installed the new one today.
It feels a little stiffer and clutch disengagement feels a little higher up.

The old one had fluid apparently leaking from the back.

May have been the cause of some clutch issues I had in the past.

So far so good.

Replaced mine due to internal leaking. With clutch pedal on the floor it would release on its on ( not cool) installed a new one, bleed it and no issues so for. About a year now.
