Ok I should have some OT money coming in soon and I think the wife is going to let me spend most of it on some mods. I need shocks and struts so that is top of the list. I already have Eibach sportlines, BMR LCAs and relocation brakets, and BMR panhard bar as far SS suspension goes. Now my budget is a little tight with a baby due in 3 weeks so I can't go crazy. What would you recommend? I was thinking about koni yellows but heard that with sportlines they ride line crap. Anyone have this combo? And I do plan on autocross and road racing with the car once a couple more upgrades are done. Thanks for the help.

+1 on Koni Sports (aka "Yellows")

If you want to save more money and don't need the adjustability, go with the Koni STRs. They're basically the sports locked in the softest setting.

If you go with koni's, try to trade the eibach sports for pros, that will keep you off your bumpstops a little more

You'll need to take into consideration that you will need a new/more robust strut mount. Preferably with chamber adjustment or chamber/caster adjustment. I was able to piece together via various sales from different companies a set of bilsteins for less than koni sports ( they are usually more ). They aren't adjustable but are monotubes which gives them a less harsh firm ride. I've seen it described as Koni sports on full firm without the harshness. I'm on K-springs and so far I really like the performance they are giving me in autocross.

If you're on any sort of budget I would be patient and hang out in the classifieds section a bit.

I bought some lightly used bilstein HDs for less that what Koni Strts cost and couldn't be more happy with them

Hmmm, sounds like something I said before:)
do you guys think I will have a problem with the yellows paired with the sportlines? two of my friends have them and love them but they have K springs and BMR springs. Just dont want to have to put them on get it aligned and have to do it all over again with different springs.

I do like that option as well.....I have heard good things about the Monotube vs twin tube

I am on koni yellow and sportlines with two knobs cut off my bumpstops. The ride is a bit soft but not too bad. I have my rears almost at full stiff and fronts at about half. been riding on this combo for over a year on some rough roads and it isnt too bad.

Also on am on MM caster camber plates. Guys said i would have been able to go factory on the alignment but I went with a little bit of aggressive setup .

Do you do any track/autox work? I've never seen/heard of anybody tracking the Strange shocks. How are they?

I would suggest, since this year racing is almost over, that you save up to get the best you can afford for the purpose you want.
