Couldn't you just use some 45 degree fittings instead of having to get a whole new oil filter relocation kit?

Great looking car man, enjoy!!

Or he could get the 90 degree npt to an fitting and use the same lines he currently has, that way it would 90 right out of the plate

Not really, it was already extremely tight fit in there, ANY fitting would have hit that pipe....I didn't get a whole new relocation kit, just a new screw on adaptor, still using my same filter mount. $27 from summit. Using the stock oil/coolant housing and a screw on adaptor raises those oil lines up a good 3 inches to give it plenty of clearance!

Looks great!

I'm finding this thread to be quite motivating...

The welded areas really don't look too bad. I may consider that myself.

i was debating real hard on doing it or not, now that its done im super happy i took the time to do it. I was mostly concerned with it just destroying the ceramic coating but it didnt even phase it one bit, i just dont trust those band clamps too much. pretty much the way i did it was to get everything lined up perfect, using the band clamps, once everything was tight i just unbolted the band clamps and removed them, tach welded where the pipes where so i could remove it as one piece to finish the welds. It was a little difficult to manuver out but well worth that struggle.I got it wrapped last night in the area that it runs close to my oil pan. Ill spray the wrap with some DEI header wrap spray tonight and should be ready to install it this weekend.

Insulated the driver cam sensor, probably over kill but the turbo mounts very close to it.

Today got the water line for the oil-less turbo finished up. Had to buy some "crows feet" wrenches to reach it.....very tight fit back in there!

Started on the radiator, switching out to a 2013 gt500 fan, tomorrow I will need to shave a part on the fan to clear the turbo and I'll need to make some brackets to move it forward a few inches at the bottom. Shouldn't be to bad now that I got it figured out. Mounted the A/C condenser and new power steering cooler.

Also got the fender skirts on the car, using the rear 07 GT skirts and the 2013 front skirts, they match right up together and didn't need to modify anything other than making room for my line lock on the driver side.

Tomorrow I should finish up with the radiator, then I know where and how I can mount my oil filter relocation mount. Hook up the power steering and figure out where the reservoir will go.
