Ok I believe this is a fuel issue, not exactly sure, but fairly certain. Ok we had a major issue here with a local bridge that has cut us off from the rest of the Outer Banks, we have to take a 2 hour ferry then drive for an hour to get back to the OBX. However, the other day after setting and waiting for the ferry, I would shut the car off, and try to turn the car back over and it wouldn't start. It cranked really strong, just no start, I could keep cranking and wouldn't start, I don't like too. However, after trying to crank it multiple times it would fire back up. It did this twice in the morning any ideas why it does this. On an initial cold start it fires up almost instantly. Working with a Walbro 405 pump - pprv deleted.

No DTC's, I make sure that I give the pump enough time with having the PPRV deleted that I don't run the engine dry at first.

Do you have a scaner that gives Data? If so you can check FuelPSI when the vehicle is not starting

I got the SCT X3 and a Actron, neither gives me a read-out for PSI, it's the one thing I am missing with the blower is a PSI gauge under the hood to monitor for this kind of crap. Now I could datalog with X3, but my luck it won't do it when I carry the computer around. The only thing that right now I am keeping an eye on is the fuel level. Gauge was under a 1/4 tank when this happened, so I am gonna see if it happens with more fuel in the tank.

when are you going to put a damn gt500 dual pump in that thing? As much as I despise building the harness I will build you one for cost of materials. Pumps themselves are relatively cheap. Takes me 8+ (yes eight plus) hours to build the freggin harness. I have done electrical stuff most my life... 6hrs of that is my being anal I guess but they are a wicked ass harness

I build them plug n play. Cut a fpdm to build a connector for your car harness, use 12 ga (yes 12ga) shielded (yes shielded) wire from the fpdm's to the pumps and 10ga wire to the battery. All painfully wrapped in abrasion proof casing that we use in aircraft systems. High quality

I've got a complete GT500 pump kit with the wiring harness and FPDM. Plug and play. Shoot me a PM if interested.

The pump needs to be 07-09 or the sending unit will not work. The sending unit to convert the 2010+ pumps is $160 all by it's little self and there is NO other alternative.. the gt sending units will not work unless they are the originall 05-06. Then you can swap the pcb on the brackets.. The new style gt sending units are totally different so they do not swap over

PPRV delete is the issue. It's allowing fuel to drain out of your lines and back into the tank. Next time it's cold, turn the key on (without starting the car), off, and on again several times - then crank it. I bet it fires right up.

Wouldnt just turning the key on and waiting 2 minutes build the pressure backup?

Yes I am aware of the differences with 2010 sending unit. The kit I have is the Ford Racing dual pump kit that works with 05-09 cars.

I give plenty of time with the PPRV delete, just because I don't want to set there and be dry cranking it. It was doing this after setting and idling for 20 minutes or so - after the engine was hot. I have zero issues with cold start. I had no issues this morning when waiting for the ferry, so maybe it just wants to be a dildo.
