Look at that license plate area. Higher on the BRZ, but holy hell, mirror image?

Your kidding right? That's your evidence? Why don't you just say that they look the same 'cause both have 4 wheels and a body...and even an engine! :omfg:

Seriously? That is not the only thing....did you look at the pictures? You see no resemblance at all?

I don't see any resemblance. The BRZ is an ugly little piece of shit IMO. I've seen lots in person. Don't like it at all.

You keep mentioning other cars. Do you realize how many cars there are now? And that there are really only a finite number of efficient, appealing design cues? The laws of probability say that eventually, some cars will have to look like others. It just is. I think the new Corvette C7 looks damn near a copy of a Ferrari 599. It's just going to happen. Keeping the things that are Mustang on there is what's impprtant. Rear drive, V8 option, tri bar lights, so on so forth.

Sorry bud. Its just you... There's about a 15% similarity between those two cars, and 10% is because they're both cars.

I passed the Subaru dealership yesterday. BRZ sitting out by itself. Looks like a Mini 2015 Mustang. No joke.

If every car looked like a '67 fastback, I would be in heaven. I would drive one now, tomorrow, and every day until I was dead. I would be buried in it. That car is an absolute icon. I am open to change, look at how much the Mustang has evolved, even in the last 10 years. Does that mean that I have to like the new one?

Or he is just seriously bitching and moaning saying it's not a Mustang. I don't think he understands Modernization or Evolution...

There is plenty of design cues and platform designs that make it a Mustang. If he ever owned a 64 1/2 through 69 Mustang he would be able to recognized em.

it looks good but it would look better (as in a lot more mustangish) if the quarter windows were treated differently. if they were separated from the front window glass by sheet metal like the rest of the mustangs since 05, it would be a huge improvement and/or preservation of the "mustang look" imho

i've only skimmed this thread, that might have already been mentioned

S197s are the only Mustangs to have the 1/4 window seperated, so it's not very Mustang like considering the Mustang has always had the window and 1/4 window connecting.

1964.5 - 1968 were separated as well... that's where the idea for the 2005-2009 came from.
