Picture request - spoiler delete

Anyone have good photos of how they plugged the holes in the trunk after removing the spoiler?
I know how and what everyone says to use but I don't feel like removing it, putting the plugs in, and then hating how they look.
I'm worried my OCD won't be able to handle the plugs and I'll just go through all that only to put the spoiler back on.

I was able to find these while looking around on here:

But I more so wanted to see how well they can be blended in to the trunk and those obviously are not at all.

I do think this is a better look than those first two. Looks cleaner and easier to ignore.

I don't think it gets better than that without just having a body shop just weld then repaint the trunk. You can try to find someone willing to trade trunks that has a factory spoiler delete.

Mine was soooo bad looking, but it was only for a little while, and it didn't leak, which I was happy about. I used bolts/nuts, and a special kind of washer where it had rubber on the washer. Here is a close up of the washers+bolts/nuts.


Also, I had my holes plugged for $200 with paint to match. I had 6 holes in total since I also removed sirius.

Yeah, this was free, my uncle had these just laying around. I sold the spoiler for $100 and used that towards the delete, just an idea. I worked inside a dealership for Coop and they gave me a great price for paint and everything, so I jumped on it. Best decision ever. I love the looks of the Spoiler delete. They also used pennies for the plugs! Picture to prove it!

Isn't it required in most/some states to have a 3rd brake light? Anyways how much did that cost to get done? Looks killer.

If it's not part of your state inspection it's not required. Sorta of like turn signals on a bike, if they are there they are required to function, but not actually required to pass inspection. I did it as part of a full respray so I'm not certain on cost.

I did search. I've been through that whole thread and several others before I posted.
I want photos up close of the actual sanded and painted plugs. Not just a distant after photo from an angle they're not visible from.

The point is to see how well they'll blend.

That would be the end goal but I don't have the money to pay someone to do it right now.

Not a fan of those. My goal is to make it look as invisible as possible.

Went to homedepot and found some washers with silicon on the back. They seal out the water well and don't damage the paint under them.

That looks killer, but I would be so paranoid about not having the third brake light, and someone rear ending me. They became a requirement in 1986, IIRC, and I think people have gotten so used to seeing them light up when someone is braking, it would have to increase the chance of someone not realizing your brake lights were on.

It's an easy excuse for them to get out of it even if it was 100% their fault.
