If he doesn't post for the next 2 hours I'd think it's safe to say he's on his way to CT to kick you in the nuts. LOL.

That doesn't look like any fun at all Cam. I'm glad you live all the way up there so I wouldn't have to help. :)

It's all going to be worth it when you pull into a show and pop that hood!!!

Well hell, if he makes 5 hour trip in 2 hours, means I get to see the GT500 before he cripples me

Lol.

Well I'm at an impasse. something is not adding up. On the rear passenger seats the harness looks much different.

GT500 harness

I see the blue and yellow and believe that is the rear speaker

I don't no what the hell this orange plug is. I have one on the other side

Here is my GT harness.

The speaker wires are much longer

Don't know what this plug is for either and I'm missing the plug that connected the trunk lid...

Totally guessing... where are the rear speakers for a convertible? Next to seats since there is no rear deck, would that be shorter wire?

Vert speakers are in the side, but the top part of the harness in the headliner looks the same like the coupe GT one. same plugs.

Maybe this may be a Shaker 1000 harness?? Does anyone have that on hand and can show me the plugs to see it they are orange and maybe this stuff is for speakers and amp?

There is a plug in the back that is orange too.

It seems like I have a big extra plug in the back as well. I haven't fully investigated it yet, but I think it's something to do with audio. My GT was a shaker 1000, but my donor car was a nav/shaker 500. The big plug I "think" plugs into the shaker 1000 amps, but is still missing a couple plugs that completes the 1000 setup. On a shaker 500 car I think it's just not used. I can look at mine tonight. I'm not sure on the other extra plug you have. In the description of your harness in Microcat, it says "may contain extra connectors".

The orange plug in the back, is that a small two wire (maybe 3)? On the passenger side, there's a theft alarm siren back there, and there should be a plug for the SAT radio module. You may or may not use those.

There is a audio store like 15 min away from work ill probably look at tomorrow.

Today was a disappointment, but the new fuel pump and fpdm showed up. ( I don't need one so if you need a replacement let me know or I'm listing it pn: 6R3A-9D372-BA)

The mounting brackets are different, so make sure you keep the right ones.

cheapest dynamat i found on ebay

Nice of you to join the party! Lol

I would go that route, but I want to get it done tomorrow and Sat morning. I'll have some wiggle room with the prices since they are who we use for aftermarket at one of our dealerships.

I believe the one with the black mounting plate is the one I keep. PN starts with 7R3V. Ill mount it up tomorrow.
