^^ Pays to shop around a little bit. I went 2 or 3 different places that offered me 12 to 13 for my 2008 with 65k on it and came across a dealership that gave me 18 for it. Had I sold it outright I may have gotten a few thousand more for it but it would have taken some time and patience.

Call CDC. They'll sell you the upper trim ring. They will sell all the parts for the shaker. I bought one a few years ago for about $30. They're local to me, so you'll have to pay shipping.

Thanks man! Appreciate the info.

Dont plan on selling my 06 when the time comes. I actually go back and forth on if I should just fix mine up again and enjoy it without payments. My wife actually asked if I was going to buy that 60k mile longblock in the classifieds and fix my car up little by little. I'm contemplating just enjoying my car for a few more years Instead of getting into more payments

Installed 1 piece driveshaft, CMDP plates, new wheels, weight reduction, ect....then sat on phone with SCT all day because their new software update has a bug. Do not plan on trading mine in for a 5.0 any time soon. Actually I'm looking forward to making a few local near stockish 5.0 owners upset after my mods are done plus I won't have a bigass car payment. :)

Keep the car. I think about the same thing but honestly do you remember back when you had no car payments? Wasn't it awesome?

I dont have any car payments right now. Every time my wife pays her Lexus payment, it feels even better not having a payment haha. I'm looking at built motors on a few different sites right now contemplating on if I should buy a used block and build it, or buy one built. After the block, I'd want to start buying all new suspension stuff again before buying the power adder. I'd like to put everything on the car at once Instead of little things here and there.

I just finished tightening a bolt on a muffler bracket. It's amazing that they need to actually be tight for no vibrations to occur .... hmmm, who would've thought? LMAO ...

I also adjusted the mufflers so the tips are centered and straighter :)

I got the passenger side working on the driver side now, blower inlet blocks a lot of room.

A ratchet wrench and a ton of patience then. I left the Kenne Bell on mine when I pulled the tranny and that same bolt tortured me for over an hour until I finally gave up for the day. The next day I went back at it with the jack under the tranny a little lower, the bolt fell out the first time I touched it. LOL
