Stepper motor repair?

Does anyone here replace the stepper motors in the gauge cluster? I didn't mind my fuel gauge being broken but a couple other motors went out during this long ass build, lol.

It's a pretty easy DIY job. There's a writeup on it somewhere on this forum.



I've read it and it's a great write but I don't want to do it. I would have buy tools and I've never attempted anything like it.

You could always buy a new(used) cluster off ebay


I don't want to deal with correcting the mileage.

Plus this service is only 60.00 with shipping both ways.

The only tools you need is a soldering iron(pen type is best) and a small socket to take the cluster out. It just takes patience but is not difficult. I replaced all of them in my cluster a little over a year ago and they work fine.
