Sam handled it great.(I have talked with Sam before this)
James apologized. If he made it right with Sam, why can't it just cool off?
I have talked with James (bigris) before all of this, and I don't think he meant to intentionally screw Sam over, negligent about delivering a product? Yes, most definitely!
I don't have a dog in this fight, but it would be a good to just settle it, and move on.
His classifieds privileges have been revoked, so that should sum it up in a way, no?

Dangit, Doug. Why did you have to go and bring logic into the equation...

Lol, but seriously. You make a good point. That is what I think should, and assume will, happen.

So you opened the door for whatever punishment, then requested the most severe? Are you wanting us to beg you not to delete it?

Sounds like a final attempt to play the victim. Whatever.

Attention whore at its finest imo. Good luck with your future whatever it may be.

Hey, this whole thing has been very stressful. I do not want attention or play victim. Sam got his money back, I apologized to him and have a standing offer to him to do anything that I can to make things right. Look at my I trader I have never had any issues with anyone . As far as my last couple posts I regret (except my apology) . This issue has cost me a lot more than money and time. I am deeply embarrassed for how I handled the transaction and the fall out.
All I can do is apologize and say I am truly sorry for any stress I caused the buyer. Since I no longer own a Mustang and this situation has ruined my reputation this is why I will no longer post on this site. " I fucked up, I admitted it and I am moving on"

^^ The seller has ZERO reason to leave you negative feedback if you paid quickly and attempted to communicate and come up with a resolution (which I know you do). I have done several transactions with you and seriously doubt you are the problem here. I appreciate you stepping up and leaving feedback regardless of retaliation. When I see negative feedback I will almost always ask a seller/buyer about it at minimum.

Notify admin if they retaliate with negative feedback and no just cause. Leaving negative feedback "out of spite" is NOT what it is for

Keep your spirits up brother! We have all screwed up in one way or the other.

I agree , you have apologized and tried to make it right, so it should be let go.

Since we are all MEN here,I think that's what needs to happen.

Because a Man can be Bashed to death!

Agree with most of that but IMO the biggest part of being a man is being accountable for your actions.

He came back and tried to make it right and said he screwed up! He didn't run away
and never come back, like a few I have seen.
How much more can he take accountability?
He fessed up,that counts a lot.

I agree with this, I cannot understand why people are chastising him for making it right. I understand bashing retards but bashing a guy that has shown true character after what appears to be a genuine mistake? I guess no one else on here has ever made a mistake, I know, sure as shit, that I have made plenty of mistakes

Did it get resolved over night or within a week? The answer is no. It took several weeks. Owning a mistake happens over night not a month or two later.

well here's the thing, IMO, He did not make it right. it was "made right" by paypay refunding the money.

he failed to communicate the delays, he failed to ship, he failed to follow up and be sure the funds were returned. That's why he's getting beat up.

Agreed! While I don't agree with the way he handled the transaction,
i agree with the way he apologized for hurting someone.

Well, I guess the answer is to just Bash someone to death, instead of forgiving them.
Carry on then. You definitely reap what you sow!

I understand where you're coming from but we don't know the circumstances or severity of his personal life issues, maybe whatever he had going on in life was far more important than an engine block and what people on a forum think about him. Don't think I'm defending his actions at all, because that is not the case. But when shit hits the fan in your personal life, days can slip away from you very quickly.

IMO, with a very rare exception, nothing that could have been going on would have prevented a few PMs/texts/emails to say "hey I'm having XYZ issues. I did not forget" Really how long does that take 1-2 mins?

that alone changes the whole tenor of the transaction.

1 week after he took the money he was posting about how hard it was deciding whether or not to spend $1,800 on a bike. As also stated, he didn't return the money, paypal did. The bashing continues because the apology is being perceived as not 100% sincere. His actions are speaking louder than his words. Rightfully so.
