Wow, Sam, sorry to see you go through this. At least you got it resolved. I am not surprised you handled it this way, just from the discussions we've had; it just shows the kind of compassionate, reasonable, and honest gentleman you are. (ok, so is it getting deep now or what?). If everyone was like that, there would be no need for 'bad sellers' or even itrader for that matter; but, we know that's unfortunately not the way it is.
Just seems to me if the engine couldn't be delivered as arranged, at least until it was delivered or shipped, you should have been refunded your money, and not delayed longer and longer.
Hope you get your car going to your satisfaction, and good luck

I searched both you & BigRis threads and I don't see anything that was listed as far as a WTB or For Sale engine thread.
What is it that you're needing?
A short block?
Long block?

Reason I ask, I have 2 guys interested in my blower and if it sells, might as well sell the engine. I'm not interested in selling it with the heads or valve/timing covers, though. Since you're just up the road in Berea, I don't see any shipping issues as we wouldn't really need to ship it. Don't start jumping for joy just yet. I should know from these 2 guys in a matter of days about the blower sale. If it sells, we can deal...otherwise, my engine stays in it's current home. Just wanted to run this by you. Will let you know soon as I know.

I"ll say Sam is about the most calm and laid back guy I know. He is one of my good friends and I had no idea about this until I just read it here. Glad it was reversed and taken care of.
