Lowered On 20's? Post Your Pics!

Depends on the brand of tire and size. I went stock 18's to 20's with crap sumituro tires and a short side wall, to 19's on Continentals with a reasonable side wall... back to a set of 20's on Michelin Super Sports in a 35 series. Without a doubt, the 20's with the Michelins are the best ride. They are so good, my wife doesn't mind riding in the car anymore. She keeps asking if I did something to the suspension to make it better. The Michelins were worth every penny.

Suprisingly, I have the 275 tire on a 10in wheel in the front and it weighs exactly the same as the stock wheel and tire.

I agree it depends on the tire. When I did my recent wheel change, I went with Nitto Invos in place of the Pirelli PZeros that were on my car. I think the ride quality of the Invos is much better.

I had Pirelli Pzero 265/35/20 and 295/35/20 and ride was horrible. Even I dreaded driving my own car.

Now with 255/40/19 285/35/19 MT Street comps initially felt like I was on clouds. But that feeling is now gone but the ride is better now. (not to mention went with coilovers that improved the ride even more. )

Love 20s on these cars, fills the wheel well so good. But the ride quality suffers so much had to go back to 19s.

got to be honest this worried me before I ended up doing the deed - however I find my ride comfort just fine... maybe the 295/30/20 helps in that regard giving a little more sidewall? ooops just saw your last post

It is strange I can honestly say that I've felt no difference between my old standard set-up (17s) and the new lowered 20s... if anything I find the 20s and lowered better
