That looks awesome Cam, but have you thought about having the mirrors painted to match?

We had the Shelby's mirrors smoothed and painted white to match the car and we love it (I understand there's a big difference having big black mirrors on a white car vs on a black car, but still)

That Bullitt looks so unassuming....no indication on whats under that hood, LOL!! "Oh, it's just a loud Bullitt." HAHA!

Haha. 5.0's will never see it coming.

Love it! Congrats on the build, Cam. That bullet decal on the rear window is a cool little detail.

I've always had one on it and it's just a cool decal. Before I did the swap it was an angry one and now it's one with teeth to show more aggression.

Man...that looks fucking awesome Cam! I know you got to be happy with that!

Very!

Super Mario!!! Bullet Bill I think is his name.

That's it!

Maybe some window tint? Should help finish off the car with the fresh new black paint!

Possibly. It really strained out my window motors when I had it installed, before I took it all out. I did just tint my raptors windows and I forgot how nice it is.

I agree. I've always hated these mirrors. I've been too lazy and planned to get agent 47 mirrors and paint them black.

Cam, car looks amazing... my only thoughts on ways to improve the look are as follows:

Agent 47 mirrors
Window Tint
Widen rear rims so you can fit some worthy tires on there

Outside of that, I would not touch a thing... it is damn near perfect! :hi:

Thanks and the more I look at it I may be getting the windows tinted.

The agent 47 mirrors will be ordered when I get a moment and I'll have our shop paint them to match.

Rear wheels will be widened in due time.... I'm thinking of two different appearances since I love that it is stock but I'm not happy with how it looks since I've come this far.

So... I'm most likely going to put the Air on this car, I have it already from my GT500 and I like the comfort of it instantly over the Koni/FRPP spring setup.

1. Weld RTS 17" front and 15" rear on Air Suspension and can swap back to stockers

or

2. Slap a set of fresh newly painted Rotiform BLQ's on it (off my GT500) and put on a front chin spoiler to give the front more aggression... like the CDC aggressive or classic with the splitter on the front. In addition, I'm looking at a set of wilwood's for all corners and going to have them painted highland green.

Rotiforms and wilwoods for sure. What color are you having the wheels sprayed?

I personally like the 2011+ mirrors on these cars. I've never been a fan of the agent 47. Just my opinion. Car is coming along awesome

EDIT: forgot to say bagged as well!!!

The Rotiforms would take away from the "sleeper" aspect, but I don't know if that's you're going for. I personally would lower it, do the CDC Classic and have the rears widened and leave it like that....but whatever you decide will probably be pretty bad ass either way.

The painted stick on mirror caps would look nice as well. I had them on my Bullitt. Places like AM, CJ Pony Parts or Silver Horse Racing would have them.

Do you think the rotoforms would show off those painted calipers though? It would be a shame to hide the calipers after getting them painted.

Probably something like the oem GT500 wheel finish, hyper black metallic/gunmetal.

I could go for either. The 47 mirrors have grown on me a bit, I'm just not sure how I feel about the 10+ mirrors on the 05-09.

I know they will take away from the "sleeper" theme, but I'm more focused on a clean, aggressive look. I'm keeping the wheels either way, so I figured I'd at least put them to use.

It was nice to finally meet you to man! I can't stop thinking about how fuggin nice those TMI seats were... the quality and fit/finish was far beyond my expectations.

The painted stick on mirror caps would look nice as well. I had them on my Bullitt. Places like AM, CJ Pony Parts or Silver Horse Racing would have them.

I tried to do the AM ones like 3 times. Everytime I got them, the fit/finish was awful. I gave up. I'm just over the size of the stock mirrors. They just look out of place.

Do you think the rotoforms would show off those painted calipers though? It would be a shame to hide the calipers after getting them painted.

I think that it would be fine for me since it wouldn't be in-your-face, but just a settle detail. I wouldn't even put logo's back on the brakes, just because I don't like showing brands.

still trying to figure it all out. I love it stock but it looks so good when I imagine this car getting a aggressive liking make over. I knew this would happen if I sell the GT500. Trying to make up for the appearance that car had.
