Today I took my car to the track for the first time since I did my bolt on modifications. Stock on tire the car ran 8.0@88 mph. Today, first run the track was extra sticky and I launched too low, ended up bogging and ran an 8.6. Horrible. Hot lapped it, got my favorite lane this time. Best 60' I've had with the car at 1.71 car was running great until..........I went for 3rd gear. I thought I missed ended up locking it in second gear.

This is the second time it has happened, first time the dealership couldn't get the trans apart to see what happened. They just swapped in a new trans. That happened at only 6700 miles, and today again it happened at 10,300 miles. I am regretting getting a M6 car. I'll warranty it for now until tax season when I can buy a TR6060.

Like you got locked out of third gear or the car no longer has third? If it is the former, Blowfish bracket like Darren had given you a link for. The TR6060 is still prone to the same problems as the MT82 but to a lesser extent due to the fact that the shifter on the MT82 is connected by a single linkage while the 3650,6060 are connected by two making them a bit more stout. I would just go with the Magnum XL rather than a 6060.

Cats melting is more due to your tunes not having cat protection.
Well I just put my Vortech on in July. I have hooker longtubes and Pypes high flow cats. I'm Lito tuned so I would assume I dont have much to worry about. Then again I could be wrong. Is the problem limited to factory cats or aftermarket high flow cats?

Sweet deal! Thanks for the reference Terry!

Just another option and I will be able I'm pretty sure to post what the difference is running the Off-Road to the Green Cats.

That's one of the things Brent is testing on mine.

Those results will be over on my Thread when I get them.

Scooped up some take off Brembos at the Rehagen Racing sale. That place is dangerous! 3K for an IC whipple, I had to walk very quickly around there before I did too much damage. I want to go back with someone elses card!

Pads, lines, and rotors. I'll probably chuck the OEM pads and get a set of StopTechs.

If they had been on the west side of MI, would have been tempted to go. Nice pickup!

It would have been worth the trip I'm sure. They have a boatload of stuff. There was so much stuff I wanted but had no use for, I was dying just being there.

Any 6060 swap stuff?!

Well, before I left for my drive down to Florida I went to get the radar detector out of the Mustang and decided to start it up and drive it for a bit since it took a second to start earlier in the day. Car tried to crank and then just heard a clicking sound. Hoping I just need to jump the battery when I get back. Battery should be WELL under warranty still. I won't be surprised if it's the alternator though. Stock 2009 alternator at 54k miles.

I would just roll start it, but to get out of my neighborhood I have to go down a steep hill that leads straight into a dumpster if it doesn't start, and turning it off without power steering at the speeds it will reach by the bottom of the hill is NOT worth the risk of totaling the car.

Both times the car has been in the shop for the transmission is because the shifter locked into second gear. I shifted from 1st to 2nd fine but when I shifted into 3rd the shifter moved but the car didn't engage in 3rd. Now the shifter sits in the neutral position but the trans is stuck in second gear.

I am going to look into the Blowfish bracket.

They'll have to come off in 4 weeks for my winter wheels, but I couldn't fight the temptation of new stuff.
