I'll keep y'all posted.

I will finally get around to installing my new exhaust next Tuesday... Still trying to chase the horrible squeaking sound when the car is warming up. I've checked the idler, so now I think it is just a bad idler somewhere on the engine... process of elimination. Great.

Cam, it is your car and whatever you decide to do will no doubt look amazing. I have always been a fan of your cars as you do them right without cutting corners. That being said in my opinion the bullitt should stay a bullitt... the heart transplant makes it a one of a kind but doing a GT500 front to me ruins what the car is meant to be... it just becomes another clone at that point in my view. Just my $0.02 for whatever it is worth.

I may have posted this before, but is it a ticking sound kinda like this?

(this turned out to be a bad belt, but the noise is returning about 2-3k miles later, so there's a good chance that there's some pulley mis-alignment somewhere or some other reason that's making belts noisy)

Gabe,

Mine is much higher pitched than that, but I did spray wd-40 and it went away for a sec.

It started happening right after I installed the Gates belt w/ the tensioner. Not too sure on how to figure out how to proceed, but I need to fix it as it is pretty embarrassing to pull out of my driveway and the car sounds like it is about to break down.

When your right, your right.

I just love how it looks so much that it blocks this perspective. My GF is aiming to start her build (Roush TVS/Roush tune for the time being) and we are looking to do a whole slew of appearance stuff so maybe that will fill this void I'm looking for... and she will inherit my Rotiforms if I don't use them.

Holy shit you scared me! :thud:

We would have to ban you if you did.

Damn Cam, I'm too old for those kind of shocks!!

No way you sell that Bullitt, FWU

Haha, I have to be honest though... that car rides fantastic. Doesn't convey the feeling I enjoy in my Bullitt, but damn I am impressed.

That looks great in that color. Big fan of the gt grille vs the others.

Agreed.

Hahaha, I wish they are pretty awesome though. I tried pushing Allie into getting a white loaded premium we got at the other store.

Worked on the car a bit yesterday to redo the exhaust. What was suppose to be a relatively easy day in the shop turned into a frustrating experience and I wanted to burn that bitch to the ground.

bastard bullitt

I love this car, but in retrospect I piss myself off on how much time, effort, and money I put into this car and I still have a squeaking belt that is pissing me off, strut mounts that sound like the car is breaking when I turn, a leaking diff cover, and another squeaking sound that is coming under the rear seat when I hit the smallest bump.

Just imagine how frustrated he's going to be to change a diaper, and immediately hear the sounds of more baby poop being pushed out!
