I used mine today to jump-start the Tundra.

Apparently yesterday while I was putting in new spark plugs in the Tundra, having a door open for the half-hour or so that the job took was enough to bring the battery to 11.8V, which is apparently not enough for the starting system to do its job :/

My liberal friends point out that separating upstate and armpit into two states would be detrimental, as the funding for the shit we do up here comes from the city, but see how quick this part of the state would vote red to ditch those programs if it meant we get to keep our money.

Finally got my flip key cut and programmed.

For those interested:

Follow this guide to program key and fob.

I purchased the key from here. (eBay seller "extra-partss" Note the two S's at the end of "parts.")

Had to have it cut at a locksmith. Home Depot said they weren't allowed to cut those keys, and the guy at Walmart said he "might" be able to, but wasn't sure. Didn't want to risk it so I took it to a locksmith who cut it for $3.

Programming is stupid easy with the guide above.

Now I have 3 keys and 2 fobs. Hallelujah. I've been using just the spare key without the fob for 2 years so I would be able to reprogram a new fob if I needed to.

I just need to find the emblem to go on the back of the key. If anyone else has done this and has a spare emblem for the back of the key let me know!

yeah that key deal is pretty nice ryan.
i'd like to get mine to just be a push button start as long as I have the key fob in my pocket like some of the newer cars.

This mod makes the car push button start while not in the car????? I read the whole thread but maybe need to read it again.
