I also had the off road setup with Borla touring and it was intoxicating but still on the edge of being civil. Absolutely loved it.

I plan to take a video compilation of it, idle, rev, normal driving, and hard acceleration.

I'm not very happy with the fitment of the MRT H pipe though. I had one for a short bit on my '13 and it was fine, but this one the passenger side leg is sitting below the frame rail and it's just uneven. I've tried to fix it but I think it's fubarred.

after hearing Terry's (Tiger) setup with the Borla Tourings that is the only thing I would go with when I do long tubes and no cats. Sounded mean but not raspy an he said he had zero drone which is a huge deal to me as mine is a DD.

I agree. It is very quiet in the cabin, but I do like how when I step on it it sounds good.

I just reached out to Van Collier/Revan Racing to let him know about the MRT fitment and we'll be getting MRT involved to fix it since it isn't a common issue.

I loved the Borla touring mufflers with the catted X. I can only imagine how good they sound with an offroad pipe.

The H is a must. Good news, MRT has already shipped out a replacement midpipe and admits the pipe is too long that's why it's not fitting correctly.

Little update.

New H pipe fits better, but I just don't think I like the way it sounds. May swap in my GTB mufflers, but I remember Brian saying he destroyed his due to higher HP.

I really wish I could find some aftermarket cats I trust and run FR500/KR mufflers. IMO those are the best sounding mufflers on the 3V/5.4.

Still trying to figure out what is making a bunch of noise in the rear of the car when the suspension is moving, and the struts are making a ton of racket when I turn the steering wheel which I am to believe is the mounts... hoping for a good deal on some MM plates this black Friday.

I had some noise coming from my adjustable panhard bar... The locknut on the passenger side had backed of a little allowing the bar to move enough to create noise. It had me puzzled for a good 2-3 weeks.

I checked that last week when I put the exhaust back together. Another thing is the DS clunk even in smooth shifts, I have the angle done properly with the UCA so I'm puzzles what it could be.

Why not run the 2013 stock mid with the KRs out back? I would imagine that all you would have to do some minor cutting/welding on the KR joint to get it to work.

Probably what I'm going to do - adjust the outlet of the 2013 midpipe to run my factory OTA's with the FR500 mufflers. Just need to figure out the best way to get it done. I have zero welding skills and don't know where to go for that type of work... and be confident that it gets done right.

I ran the kooks cats with the Kenne Bell and I didn't baby it, never had any issues. Holiday laps at VIR, Tail of the Dragon, spirited highway driving...

Finally solved the rear clunking issue yesterday, turned out that the UCA mount was't tight enough and not enough grease in the bushing. Tightened all that up and now it's 100% quiet in the rear. That sound was driving me mad.

I can't say the same for the squealing engine. Took the belt off yesterday and looked at the routing of all the pulleys and still couldn't find out what it is, it definitely sounds like something is off though and our mechanics and I just can't pin point it. Like I said it only does this during a cold start and remains until the engine has been driven at operating temperature for 5-10 minutes/ basically when the belt becomes warm and starts sticking versus fighting one of the groves that sounds like it isn't aligned properly.

Still need to take time and replace strut mounts too and figure out another exhaust setup... really want to go stock H with FR500 mufflers. Still temped for a TVS but keep thinking about porting this eaton and doing a lower to see what it makes.

Was it just the mount bolt that holds the arm in? Maybe thats why mine is kinda clunky too. I just attributed it to poly everything.

I really like my FR500s/Bullitt H combo. I've had it for almost a year now, which is a record for me. What power level is your car at? I'm sure the stock cats handle it just fine if you are still on the stock blower, or even with a TVS. I wonder if you could cobble together a 13/14 mid pipe with the Bullitt H section, that way you get what I would assume are more resilient cats.

Any TSBs on the GT500 FEAD system? I know the 3V had one where one of the pulleys would only make noise when cold, but would go away when warm.

It was the arm itself. Car is probably at low 500s to the ground, but the 3.73's make it a ton of fun. That's what I'm thinking too, power is great, but I think I'm becoming more focused on refining the car. I still have another 2013 GT500 midpipe around, just trying to muster up some courage to cut it and fit 2.5" adapters for the OTA pipes.

I haven't come across any TSB's for squealing issues. We're not giving up on it though, possibly may take out the upper idler and install a bigger lower to help and squeeze out what we can from the Eaton.

I really want the TVS just because, but the initial investment for it, plus I need to grind off the 5.8/SVT lettering and need a BAP + Injectors and a pulley for it... shit adds up while I'm just starting out on a 7.3 diesel truck project.
