Hey guys, I just bought my first Mustang. Actually, my first Ford product. Picked up a CPO 2012 Mustang GT Premium in performance white last week, 6 speed manual, no heated seats or Brembos. I've had a lot of cars, old and new, slow and fast, luxury and basic, and this is already my favorite by far. It actually feels very similar to my old 540i 6 speed, just a lot faster. I have Steeda Ultralites and I'm waiting for my adjustable panhard bar, new OEM strut mounts, and Eibach camber bolts to get here before I install. I'm going to try it with the stock shocks for a while, and if I hate it I'll upgrade later. Next is exhaust, then tune/CAI and probably a Boss 302 intake later. New wheels/tires at some point in between the power mods. Anyways, here's some pics I took yesterday on Mines Rd.

Nice car and welcome aboard! Your going love the easy maintenance a Ford has compare to a BMW. I love those german cars, but they have the weirdest engineering and the weirdest problems.

My 540i developed the dreaded timing chain rattle. 3500 bucks at my indy shop! Not worth it at all so I sold it

They get stoopid expensive when out of warranty. Had a friend who had a Turbo A3 (Audi's GTI equivalent). $700 just in labor to change a thermostat. He said screw that, and sold it off.

Here's a picture of my buddy Audi b5 S4- all that to get to his cam tensioner seals(they were leaking). He loves that car even though every time he has to do something to it, the front bumper is coming off.

Oh I know about the S4's. My brother had one (B6 Model I believe) with the terrible engine issues. He eventually sold it off because it wouldn't stay out of the shop for more than a week. Luckily our family is good friends with the shop owner, and he didn't have to pay anything since they couldn't fix it.
