my inner case actually looked worse and felt like 80 grit sand paper so yes I'm saying that looks like normal use after a long hardlife. I am saying that you could actually use the blower with probably no problems for a while based on pics, provided you bought a new bypass valve. you have to consider this is an aluminum case making tons of heat. the recommended interval for maintenance I believe whipple calls for every 25k miles. just so you know I'm speaking from experience and not theory : dont have pics but heres my receipt from laast year on mine. case and rotors came back smooth as silk with all new bearings and stuff. I personally think you jumped the gun on this one and should try to negotiate a rebuild with the seller rather than piss him off by badmouthing his reputation.

950 + shipping for the blower and i think 400 for the snout as they have updated/upgraded parts ( bearings maybe ) in it. i also had my 10 rib snout done just for peace of mind.

Ive never install it. Even the brian engine i didnt because not to Many people can do this

I would of probed the shit out of something this expensive right when it showed up. I mean, we have seen a thread where a shit blower was sold days after the sale. I am not sticking up for the seller, but.... You may have a hard time having anyone side with you on this one.

If it was me I would see if there is someone in Europe that Whipple knows how can fix a supercharger. I mean there has to be someone on the continent that can fix it. 8 months is a long time to bring up an issue sadly to say.

Use it or rebuild it there. If you export it , repair it and import it again. You may as well but it new.. Agreed I'm sorry it happens to you, and really is a seller issue most likely. This is the bad part of our hobby. Ocelots more money on bad shops and bad parts that it would cost to buy my dream car. Hope it works out for you, it always does in the long run.

Yes, but even so another 4 months to inspect it is a bit long. As much as I feel bad for the buyer, I'm afraid he's on his own with this one.

4 months does not make sense to me. I feel bad too but a lot happends on the ocean and in warehouses. I see perfect shipments arrived damaged.

Those rotors don't get damaged in shipping. To do that damage, one of two things has to happen...something gets sucked in...or you take it apart and take a file to it.

Yea I've seen shit that I can't explain too. It sucks non the less.o hate to see this shit happen. It's hard to prove the chain of custody after so long that's all I mean
