Installed some color-matched outside mirror covers on my '06 convertible. Woo-hoo. :thumb2:

Used my new torque wrench and installed my BMR K member brace. Pulling 140 pounds torque lying on your back is interesting!

Installed a GT 500 front splitter, the verdict is still out not feeling the look yet, need to get the car outside to decide if I will keep it on.

Take a look at the APR splitter that is made for the GT/CS bumper. Looks better IMO.

Thanks Cam, will do. The 500 splitter look good from the side but at the front it just blends in to the existing cover, not liking the look.

Installing new timing set, deleting vct with blocks.

Turns out to be a good move, after removing covers I found the drivers side chain was so floppy that the chain guide looks like rubbing on the machined area behind the guide, should be oil stained but was fresh bright. So this might be why my datalogs showed timing being pulled coming out of the hole at the track.:oh:

Ive been eyeing these but am hesitant as a comment on the page said that the passenger is not a concave mirror like stock and makes it harder to see, do you know if they rectified this yet?

My set does not have the concave mirror, bought mine several months ago. I complained to AM about it and they didn't seem interested in fixing the problem so I would imagine that there will be no solution.

I even went so far to ask if I could pay out of pocket for another driver side mirror so I can use that on the passenger side since it has a better field of view. I received a reply stating that I would have to buy a whole new set, meh, to say the least I wasn't completely pleased.

They do look awesome though, so I ultimately kept them. It is a shame that they can't get the passenger mirror right. It would be a perfect buy if they did.

Thanks for the info, based off your experience I doubt they will fix it either, there was one guy who said he got a custom mirror cut not sure how hard that would be. I think I will just get 2011+ mirrors instead.

Modded mustangs!!!! :nk:

Yeah yeah yeah... it was my first Mustang forum and gets all the credit. It could be worse, it could the Corral (a forum I'm proud to say I've never been on) or Mustang Forums (which I sadly have).

Received the new '13-'14 GT500 rear rotors from LRS ... 14" rear rotors will finally match the 14's in the front, and won't look tiny once the 20's finally get installed back there.

As far as packaging, it looks like the LRS retarded packaging monkey is still employed there .... a HUGE box with tons of heavy brown paper on top and the rotors on the bottom ... wasteful and inadequate-against-dropping packaging, once again:
