Help 20x10 +40mm fronts

[Roush fun]

I searched and did not find this. Second guessing fitment. Will it fit!?!?!?! 20x10 +40mm 275/35/20 front. Is anyone running this?

The guy whose sig looks like a Vossen Promo shot was one of them who mentioned he was running 20x10 +40. Might wanna PM him.

I am going to, i just went throush all of the post again lol I thought his were a 9 front but he does eventually run a square setup!

+40 should be fine. My 20x10 fronts are +48 and I'd much rather they were +40.

Yes, they will clear. 275/35 should be no problem. I am running 20x10 +40 with 285/35 and they do clear, but I had to roll the fenders a little more for them to clear. Also, they rub the body at full lock, but not a ton. In hindsight, I should have gone 275/35, so that being said, you should be good to go.

They do look a touch stretched and the 295's seem a touch pinched. Both sizes fit on 10's just not optimal. 285/35's would be a perfect square setup on 20x10's

Next time around I will probably buy 285/35-20's, they just had too good a deal on these 285/30-20's this time around for me to say no. There also seems to be more options available in the 30 series than the 35's for whatever reason.

My wheels come in Friday, I decided to go with Mickey Thompson street comps. For tires I decided to stagger, 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear. The rears look awesome, super pumped!

It's what I run on my C5, 315 on an 18x11 in back, 295 on an 18x11 in front. Can be good if there are close clearances in the front like I'm dealing with.

285/35/18, 18x10 +43 (IIRC)

You want some stretch. That 275 on 10 is perfect, these 285's were ok but as far as I'd take it for any application where lateral loading will be encountered.

285/35's on 10's may look a bit better to most people than 275/35's on 10's, but 10's are better suited for 275/35's or even 265/40's when cornering performance clearly has top priority and you're choosing the wheels first.

285/35's work better on 10.5's (or maybe even on 11's if you're a bit fanatical about things like lateral stiffness, cornering response, and linearity ).
