Thanks John. i'm glad you all talked me into it!! no turning back now i guess. it's too early for me to jump on the Cecil ban wagon yet....but i will keep you updated. and again, thank you for the shifter! i'm gonna give you a call tomorrow to see when we can get this thing in. i would love for you to talk me through it! if you have time of course.

well, i'm not exactly sure since i just had my first day at the track, but from what i gather Mason Dixon and Cecil are they popular places. as well as MIR. not sure if i will be at Atco next month........i can't plan that far ahead.

Let's watch weather for Saturday the 11th. It's about 30 mins if you know what you're doing, so maybe 60 mins underneath walking you through everything--it's just tricky with the drive shaft in. Moving the old shifter out and the new one in through the shifter opening is easier anyhow with a set of hands above and below.

Saturday is no good for me. already have prior engagements......which you should attend! i'm sure you saw on our local forum the info on the Philly Cheesesteak Run. shoud be a good turn-out. and some good food at the end of it all! obviously if the weather isn't looking good then i won't be going.

but, yes, we will figure it out.

i was glad i made it out as well, almost bailed a few times. i'll look into the Shootout in November. can't make any promises this early in the game.....i NEED more practice lol

well, thanks to John(Boss281), i now am on my way to the right direction. he has helped me with a new shifter and some stock 17" wheels and DR's! hopefully we can soon get the time to install the shifter, if the weather cooperates. thanks again John!! you are my guiding light.
