im sure there have been many questions like this but i want to know this for my setup specifically.

I want 20X10s on all four corners. we all know it can be done. Im thinking about going with SVE Series 3 wheels.. but didnt know if it will clear in the front.

Series 3 wheels have 7.15 backspacing and a +42 offset.

AMRs for reference have 7.4 backspacing and a +48 offset.

We know AMRs fit but its close to the strut. with less backspacing and lower offset, will it even out on the Series 3. or will it still be too close to the strut. I know the bolt that juts from the strut (which is the endlink bolt right???) can be grinded down so thats not a problem. guess im just asking if someone has a wheel with close to the same fitment and if it fits..

Less backspace and lower offset push the wheel further from the strut.

42 is about ideal for a 10" square fitment

thanks dude!!! thats exactly what i was thinking but i feel way better when someone with actual knowledge about this stuff supports it too lol. I hate when the company says that you cant run this wheel on the front, watch me lol

LOL, yep. AM says the same about the AMR 18x10. Except a bunch of us here run them just fine (slight rub at full lock, big whoop).

My guess is they are just covering their assess... someone puts a 10" wide wheel on there with 315's and they will hit the struts. By saying they won't fit they remove themselves from any issues that may or may not arise...

you will be fine with that offset. guys running the AMR +48 are using up to a 295 wide front tire..

I am running a +40 which is more aggressive than the series 3 and clear with good amount of room with a 275/35/20 front tire.

no^^ my car is base model as hell. I do Auto X but the need for big brakes is minimal. only upgrade i will do is slotted rotors and a pad with more bite. im planning on running 275/35/20s so i know i will clear. would like to have a little stretch with this setup since buldge is not ideal for AutoX
