Hey guys need some advice. Car setup is DOB Supercharged, 1 step colder plugs, s&h upgraded walbro pump with wiring kit, gt500 injectors, etc Tuned by Lito and traction control is turned off in the tune, rev limiter is set to 6500. I usually shift around 6,000-6100.

Car runs great and seems to pull hard, however sometimes when i am doing a WOT pull, when i shift i push in the clutch, when i release it and go back into throttle i get a momently cut out, or bucking. Almost like i hit the rev limiter. Basically the engine seems to cut out(turn off) for a split second, then all is normal. creates a slight bucking sensation. No check engine lights or codes.

Ive been trying to chase down the issue with Lito, so i dont think its a tune issue.

Anyone have any ideas? Maybe spark plug blow out?

Hmm odd

Isn't the agreed limit on stock block while boosted 6000 rpms?

Yes, i always try to shift around 6,000, sometimes i go a little over by accident. I posted the rev limit being at 6500 in the tune, just to show im not hitting the rev limiter, so it must be something else causing the issue.

I had a similar issue when I first installed my procharger and had it tuned. It did end up being tune related. Can't remember for the life of me what he said it was. Maybe driver demand? I'll see if my tuner remembers. But it was the same thing, I'd run a gear out WOT, tap the clutch and slap the fun stick and get back on the noise pedal and it was like when the clutch engaged it had a huge hesitation and then went WOT. No backfires, pings/knocks, just a big hesitation between gears at WOT.

If Lito tuned your car, then you are already talking to his tuner lol. Still no response from my tuner.

Yeah working with him now, im going to try and get a better log of it. Thanks for trying.

Tried to log the issue yesterday, did about 6-7 separate pulls over about 20 mins or so, and it wouldnt do it :perkinswhatever:

It is getting cooler here, wondering if thats helping. I gonna try again after trying to get the car more heat soaked, see if i can reproduce it.

I had the same issue, ended up being the torque management in the tune. Tuner said it should not have been coming on, but was. He maxed out all of the values for torque management, and it fixed it. I guess the torque management thinks you are at full throttle, shifting, and it starts to close the throttle plate for you to keep from breaking something, lol. Too much technology sometimes.
