Picked up the car today and drove it home. Runs great, but I still have a lot of odds and ends to complete. I ordered new Brembo calipers and they should arrive soon. I just need to order pads and rotors now.



I think I'm going to install resonators too since the exhaust is pretty damn loud anything above 2500rpm.

I can second the PSS as a good tire. Believe it or not, in some cases I believe the Continentals I had were better (colder days), but overall the PSS is better. I don't like the sidewall flex of my taller tire, but like the look enough to keep it.

Be careful on sizing.... they run WIDE. My 295's rub and my rims are not as aggressive as yours.

Yep. I've been too lazy to order the lower grille sides and not too happy that Ford still charges $100 per side. So it will total about $300 all together for some honeycomb bullshit. Lol

Question for you though - how much drilling/cutting did you do to get that Roush splitter to fit under your bumper? I think that would complete the look of my car and if it gets busted up, I'd rather that than the APR piece.

Take a look at the width of the 295/35/20 PSS (what I am running).... it's probably as wide as your 305 R888 (or close). The problem would be the height and width combination. I would have to say they will rub. Sorry for being lazy and not looking it up, but what are the specs on your rear wheel (width and offset)?

The PSS 305/30/20 is very comparable to my 315/30/20 in regards to width, it's just the height issue when looking at a front tire to match with it.

I don't remember doing much cutting, combo of doublesided tape and self tapping screws for most of it. The cutting was there are 3 bumps in the center of the splitter that nicely match the center portion of the fascia that is slightly higher than outter edges (can see the light catching them in pic below). There I put short bolts to really pinch it together, I used a hole saw next to where the bolt is so I could access the nut. I haven't had any issues with it that way, then again with my gearing top speed is only in the 125 area in Mexico of course

Yeah, I dig how that looks. Looks like I'll be adding some Roush resonator OTA pipes (from the extreme catback) to the car to see how they tone it down. My friend/coworker had them on his 3V before he sold it and I'm going to try them out.

Seems Roush is my main parts source for the companies that build versions of the stang, I have few steeda parts but no saleen. Splitter, seats, wheels

I did the same thing. IMO these cars need a resonator of some kind. They are just to crackly/raspy without. I bet you'll like it a lot more.

Well there not for everyone that's for sure.

Many of us tried all different exhaust systems and finally we gave up on the LOUD exhaust.

So I finally tried the Borla Touring and with my engine they work okay.
Not really very authoritative at idle but they sound pretty darn good under power.

Good-Luck on finding a system that works for you.
