Need Moar Low. Sportlines or H&R Super Sports?

I'll gladly sell this and buy HR SS if they are lower and just eat the difference in $$.

From what I can gather, the manufacturer claims are that the HR springs are .1" lower in front and the Sportlines are .1" lower in back.

Not sure about 05-09 cars but I believe the H&R supersports are lower front and rear than the sportlines for the 11-14 cars.

Just looked on LMR and it seems like HR used two different springs for our cars.

05-10 HR SS (#HR-5165577) 1.7" / 1.9"
11-14 HR SS (#HR-5169077) 1.7" / 2.4"

Comparing those to the 05-10 Sportlines that claims between 1.6" and 2.0" drop.

Leveled it out pretty much, maybe just a hair taller in the front. Finally said fuck it and bought a set of the H&R Super Sports today so will post up results when I get em installed.

I saw that too. My experience is only with 11-14 cars.

As noted earlier in the thread, the HR SS springs are actually two different springs for the 05-09 and 10-14 cars where the 11-14 is considerably lower. Is there anything stopping me from fitting the new ones on my 08?

You will need 11-14 strut mounts for the front IIRC.

Unless the springs are all the same and was only the actual struts that were slightly different.

Sorry for the weird resolution on the close up picks. I don't know why Imjur doesn't like portrait pics. For some dumbass reason, I didn't measure the previous height where that pic was taken. I did measure them at the parkin lot at work, so I'll have to wait til Monday to get you the actual new measurements. The H&Rs about 3/8" lower all around than the old setup, maybe just a hair more than 3/8" in the front.

Really interesting that the rears are lower. I can believe the front since HR claims a larger drop but the narrative online suggests the sportlines are the lowest you can go in the rear. Regardless, those pictures suggest otherwise.

I'm guessing the HR springs have settled a bit since this weekend. Did you ever find those original measurements?

These are the measurements from the ground to the fender.

front 26.5"

rear 26.75"

So the H&Rs dropped it another 1/2" in the front and 1/4" in the rear.

That is pretty damn low. With the sportlines, I was planning on running 275/40/19 tires which come in at 27.66". Combine them with the Drift's +35mm offset and I think I'd be rubbing the fender. The good news is that the 285/35/19 (26.85") should fit perfectly with the HR springs.
