It's a ways off till christmas so I'm not really thinking about it right now. I want to enjoy the 3V for awhile first. The turbo kit will be mostly re-used as the hogan manifold can be reversed. Bigger turbos and a bigger cooler, and some minor tweaking to the piping should be all we need. The 'turbo kit' will pretty much just be twin 67's, water cooler, and headers. Although that is the 'meat and potatoes' of the kit anyway...lol

We'll deal with it in the winter...:hi:

coming to the finish line...

I'm going to be running extreme drag radial class next season. SD helped me get this motor from Dan Saitz...

I will be running twin 88's and going with a 25.5 and a ladder bar. My goal is for the car to be a consistent 7.70 car - I should do very well in the class if it does it. Dan ran twin 88's on this motor in his 2900 lbs. car and turned 6.50's at around 226 mph. I will be around 3400 lbs w/driver when it's said and done.
Small world! I just got off the phone with Dan. He is a St. Louis guy and I have been watching him for years. He is who I'm getting my 76mm from. Great guy and has some BAD ASS cars!

Mark I was going over your build and the time frame. Seems like once the parts arrived things moved along fast.

Jan. 30- Started pulling inside apart and pull motor out

Feb. 10- Turbo parts started arriving

Mar. 16- Started building headers <-- this is actually when the turbo build started

April 20- Trans finally arrived to start on hot side

April 21- Up pipes done

April 23- Cold side in fender done

April 24- Down pipes started

April 27- Cold side on turbos done along with BOV

I know right now the up pipes are off the car to weld on the wastegates. Then I think all thats left for the turbo kit is the pipe from the intercooler to TB then off to the coaters.

Of course the motor needs to be pulled out, then assembled with your new heads and re-installed. Cage needs to be done correctly, rear end back from Curry, and everything put back together.
