How do you know when your injectors are maxed out and you need to upgrade them. Also when you change injectors do you need to step up your fuel pump. When I upgrade I was thinking of getting 39lb with the new heads and cams I an getting in two weeks.

You data log the fuel injectors on a dyno and that will tell you if they are maxing out or not.

FWIW, I doubt at 330hp you are maxed. Not saying that you have a lot of room to go, or that it would not be in your best interest to upgrade... just saying I doubt they are maxed out.

hey fulselll I have been doing my own tuning with my sct and dyno time. Id let them pull a couple passes and look at my a/f and adjust accordingly. I problem would get more power if I had a true customdyno tune, but that will wait till I do head and cam work to the car.

What he said LOL :beerchug2:

IMO - Data log the injectors now. I am only running at ~341rwhp with the mods in my sig. and my stock 19# injectors hit 100% duty cycle at 6200RPM. It would be a bummer to run her out on the track and break something because you went lean at high RPM.

Actually they are 19#'s (Part #CM5088 (4L8E-A4A) for the 4.6L V-8). At least they are for the 2007.

And yes you can data log with the SCT. You will need to download the correct Livelink software from SCT's site, but once you have it set up you can pick up to 20 different pid's to track.

Well I could be wrong (hell it happens all of the time, just ask my wife :thud:). In any case, I can tell you that whatever the stock size mine are maxed at 6200 RPM's LOL.

Hawg - If you happen to know where to find the info for certain I would appreciate it. I am going off of O-Ring Color (Orange/Yellow), but that is a pretty lousy f*cking lousy way to do it. I called the local stealerships about a year ago on this and no one had a damn clue.

LOL - The only reason I checked was that it seemed to me that the 19# injectors should have been almost at their max duty cycle right out of the gate on these cars, so I called a buddy who knows some folks. Finally got a straight answer LOL
