Little brother is doing big things! I just want to say how proud of my little brother I am he put his dreams and passions on hold to make sure his family was taken care of his first. About 3 years ago his motor in his 05 slipped timing and gutted itself. The car has been sitting ever since. Well he is now ready to get his old girl back on the street. We picked it up the other weekend and got it dropped off at Tricky Performance here in the OKC. I'm not sure of the specs but I think it's one of BruceH (not sure if he is still on here) old motors. Anyways I just wanted to say I'm proud of you little bro and can't wait to see how the build comes along. If Dan doesn't post in here about it I'll try and post updates as they come.

I sold off both my Mustangs about 5 years ago to free up money so my wife and I could buy a house with a big yard for the kids. Was Mustang less for about 3 years myself. Felt good to get back behind the wheel. Look forward to updates.

Respect.

I just went through the same thing myself bud. I sold off two of my 1960 truck projects to put a down payment on a new house. Family first right?

This closely resemble BruceH Big Bore Boss Block build from 2013. Plus the 125 shot. Thanks for all the kind words brother. Seems to me the only thing I might have to buy is another Cam, but no word from Trev yet. Everything else is in place and ready for assembly. Then I'll need a month to learn how to drive again.

Guess I should update this thread.

Motor (Big Bore Boss Block) is built and installed.

Transmission is back in with an upgraded Stage II Clutch

Long Tubes / X Pipe are ordered and in shipping.

Nos is being installed next week, along with the LT / X Pipe

Then a few Tricky tunes and it will finally be back on the street. Then all I really need to do is detail the hell out of it, engine bay, interior, etc. Add tint and some new wheels.

She has been built to run on E85, so it has all the upgraded fuel (GT550) system installed with 60lb injectors. And of course Trevor will be upping from the 125 shot to a 150 shot setup on the nos. So the finale numbers will be interesting to see.

Tricky talks about the Car about the 1 minute mark.

What an excellent build, the big bore boss makes the 3v a worthy street engine.

I can't thank Bruce enough for the inspiration on this build. At least it will have his 3.701 Wiseco custom pistons in it.

IIRC, Bruce H's N/A 323 big bore stroker posted 422rwhp & 375rwtq, and I've seen another post 426rwhp & 387rwtq.

That's with a stroker crank and a 12:1 compression ratio. Mine is a forged cobra crank and will have a 11:1 ratio. But i do have stage II comp cams... should be close if i had to guess.

250 shot? Geez.... lol

Are those the Stage 2 SPR cams #127500? That 426/387 combo was with Stage 3 SPR cams #127600 so your engine might make slightly less HP but with more torque lower down the rpm range. Should be pretty civilised for the street.

127500 nitrous cams. They make more power on the upper end.
