Looks fantastic so far, can't wait to see the full interior back in the Mustang.
Maybe a video of getting in and out of the Mustang with the door bars in place is next?

I looked at a couple delete kits and if it was more than a curtain they weighed almost as much as the rear seat.
Oem rear seats is < 40 lbs.

Can u imagine paying somebody to install the roll bar ? It would be a megabuck.

I figure the back seat, seat belts and hardware is 30 lbs and delete kits run 10 to 15 lbs. Not a huge savings. I can shed about 40 lbs replacing the front seats and do the rear delete at the same time. Probably what I will do. I have not figured out how to get around the passenger restraint system and air bag alarms. Warnings on the dash would drive me nuts!
I can’t imagine allowing somebody else to work on my car. It’s my toy. I’m a little embarrassed I haven’t dedicated the time to learn to use tuning software and have to pay somebody to do that.

Just a couple things for fun. Not mentioned in the instructions is the passenger side kick panel needing to be trimmed to clear the door bar mount. You have to be able to put the bolt in the hole.

And this guy fills it right up. Cheers!......
It does look a little cramped. Ask "This Guy" where he puts his left arm if he does not have it on the steering wheel? Can you just put your arm on the bar and it is comfortable?
Can you pass tech with stock seats? Don't they have to be attached to the harness bar?
Thanks again for this build thread.

This guy won’t be taking his left hand off the steering wheel when the door bar is in place. Even with a little padding I don’t see that bar being comfortable for more than a short ride. As far as passing tech, I believe the rules say the seat must be attached to the cage with at least one bolt. This is not a cage. With stock floor pans I should be good for something like 10 flat or 135 mph.

Think about sitting in the rear seat and getting in a accident and having your face go into a roll bar?
Similar with my Corbeau Harness Bar, nobody's been in the back seat since. Good reason to keep 4 out of my car too!

Resistors in the plug work for the airbags. I forget what ohms mine are. I will try to find the write up i saw them in.
