I picked up the car from a local body shop yesterday after work. These pins work very well at holding the hood in place. It's not going anywhere now. Here is a not that great cell phone pic. I will get better ones later. They blend into the hood even better than I expected.

Are you getting a new hood too? I'll try to take pics soon for you. I forgot that I have my camera here but no camera cable.

Haha. Same with me. I bought the Scott Drake hood pins that are just like the Shelby GT pins during late last summer and they're still in my closet. :)

One day I'll install them...

Looks good ! I like this kit and almost bought it but I think only a black hood would look right with them . JMO

Those are nice John. I was thinking of getting the shelby hood pins for mine. The only thing stopping me is every one I see on a car has rust on them. Are you planning to paint the hood or keep it? It looks good either way.

I am going to leave it for now and paint it similar to the Steeda cars down the road when I do a repaint on the whole car.

I like the hood and the pins. Very slick install there... BTW thanks, I have been trying to get a pic of the underside of a aftermarket fiberglass hood for a while.
