another significant difference between the 12 and 07 is the fuel filter. I swapped the 12 fuel line on to the 07 and hooked it up to the tank. The 07 has/had an inline serviceable fuel filter (around the driverside foot area on frame rail), the 12 does not. I have learned that it has a filter in the fuel pump! I'm not sure that is a "better" idea...

I had replaced the front hubs and I used the new ones with ARP studs. I had intended to change the rear studs as well but before I got it done the engine blew up so I took the oportunity to put them in the 8.8 axles today.

I was buttoning up things on the rear of the car (underneath) and found yet another thing I need to swap. The connector for the EVAP under the trunk is different! Thanks Ford! It's a good thing I haven't scrapped the doner car yet!

I took a break from the important stuff and put the 2012 side mirrors on this morning before work. First pic is 07 mirror, second is 2012. Last pics are both installed.

That plug fits the later cannister if you remove the extension.
I am running that same later charcoal canister, the square one. ;)
In your case, you could have just used the extension off the newer canister.
I think.

thanks, I already swapped the whole thing. I had the doner car so it was easy to just swap all the 2012 stuff onto the 07 but thanks

The Cyclone is quite a large V-6. Have you checked if it clears the stock hood?. The 2011 that the 3.7 first came in has a bulge in the hood. The engine sits higher than the tops of the fenders.
I have not checked. My son just came by after work and said the same thing! It does look bigger/taller

If you need clearance maybe a set of these would help. Adjustable drop down to 3/4" in 1/4" increments. I think they're Prothane. Nice pieces actually.... DOB sells them for $150. Have them on mine so I could lower the engine enough to allow the intake to clear the strut bar.

If a coyote fits in an 07 without issues, I think the cyclone should be fine.
