I am installing a Snow Performance Stage 2 kit along with a MAFia on Thursday, and new tune on the dyno. Those that use/used it on our cars, any pointers? I want to tap into the windshield washer tank. Im assuming its a cut and dry install, but none the less, if you have any thoughts or pointers that would be great..And thanks for the boost juice Skeeter!! Good to finally meet up with ya, sorry I had to bolt so quickly..

I will definetly have some vids..
I have the Mafia already Just need the Meth now. Keep us posted on results.

Who tuned your car? EFILOGICS is doing my tune again. Chris tunes with meth alot with the Subaru cars. Im asuming this is really going to help with heat soak and help me out on the big end at the track..

i only gained about 30hp and 15torque. Safe tune for it. I will be selling my kit once i do my F1A.

That sounds about right..Hell I would be happy with 20:beerchug2:..I am mainly doing it to get the IAT's down some on hotter days, and help with heat soak..I can feel the power get sapped on a hot day after being in boost for a short time, ie. the track or a highway run..

I've actually datalogged IAT increases with hotter weather on several track visits over the past half year or so. There is definitely a reduction of power as IATs increase, and I noticed that it's more a function of ambient air getting warmer that causes the IATs to correspondingly go up, with all other factors being the same. As a result, slower track times. booo.

I too am looking at methanol as means to get lower IATs for better track results. With it being rather warm here in Texas even now and more so in the summer, if it will lower IATs down 20-30*, I would be very happy!

Up until recently I didn't really notice what the temps were doing, as my IATs are within 5-15* of ambient even on hot days. So I was ignoring the effects, until now!

I want to give a HUGE thanks to Chris and the they guys at EFI Logics..Jack did a flawless install with the Snow meth kit..Chris played with the car for a good 3 hours on the dyno, working his magic, that I got to see first hand. Most of it is like Chinese to me, but when we talked about the tune, it made sense. And oh by the way, the car makes 441 whp on the dyno, the auto shifts unbelievable, and my mpg went wayyyy up in the process(I averaged 22 mpg on the way home..Before I might have gotten 19 mpg with the cruise control on)..More importantly, the heat soak issue is solved for the track and the occasional highway romps. The IAT's never got above 130 degrees even after back to back to back pulls....Great work guys, I am very pleased. Took a little longer than we thought on the install. We had to route the power wire through and up under the fuse box, do a little fabbing of a bracket for the pump to be hidden right near the washer fluid tank which we tapped into. The car must have been running rich before because it feels so much more crisper, even at highway cruising speeds.
Last run in January in cold weather it saw 418 whp..Got it up to 441 whp with the meth with out a hint of knocking and didnt have to give it alot of timing at all..I have a couple vids I will post up when I can..

Ya its cool..And nope AWD Mustang dyno..And a very very modest one at that, according to all the guys in our local club that have been on it, and it reads probablya good 5% less than the other Mustang dyno we all used before..I cant wait to get back to the track:clap:
