I received my new Summit Racing intake and am disappointed in the tube to mount flange intersection. Anyone have experience with this? Looks like instead of being a improvement over stock it's a detriment. Please help. Thanks

No. I have the Summit Racing fabricated 3v intake. Not sure who makes it for them. $371 plus tax and $120 for fuel rail as apparently stock doesn't fit. Sum-226136bl and fuel rail SUM-227154 thanks for any help

ok here are pic,s. the ones from bottom are square to manifold showing what head port actually sees. a severe restriction and a severe angle of airflow.

Just for reference this is a Ford flange. Full size straight shot. Ok I guess this settles it. It's going back. I thought I would buy this and use it till fall, then put 3v 5.4 in over winter and just widen manifold by simply adding width to tubes at plenum. With bottom of tubes being so bad I would have to completely rebuild them. I was hoping for someone that has purchased this to chime in. They (summit) sure took the easy way out.

I'm disappointed I haven't found anything on internet describing this. It's not like this is brand new part just hitting market. Probably came out 18 years ago or more
