Another MAF problem maybe.

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a 2006 Mustang GT a couple of weeks ago, so I don't have much history on the car.
The car can barely run when the MAF sensor is plugged in. When I unplug it, the engine idles and runs much better.
I scanned the car with Forscan and there are no error codes. I also replaced the MAF sensor with a new original one, but that didn't solve the issue.
I logged the MAF data with Forscan while the sensor was connected:

Can anyone see if the readings look wrong?
I've checked the connector, wiring, and related components but haven't found anything obvious. Does anyone have ideas on where else to look?
Note: The car has a Roush cold air intake, and I have flashed the original program back onto it using FJDS.

The Roush intake has two configurations. Do you know if the venturi insert is there or has it been removed?

If it’s without, your car needs a tune if it’s on the stock tune or you are unsure if it’s tuned

With the MAF unplugged, the car goes into load with failed MAF which basically defaults to a default open loop table.

If the MAF table is under scaled in your tune (most likely is), then the car will run poorly with the MAF on.

You could also try installing the stock intake tube or Venturi if you have it which reduces the MAF diameter to the stock diameter.

Check the ground for the MAF. It is on passenger side on top of front frame next to radiator support. It is part of main wire harness.
