Well I had a dog but I had to give him away... really fast too so I was really sad about it... it was just beyond my control or I would still have him... but he went to a really good home and actually seems more happy to be there as he has a fellow dog to play around with.

His name is Sam ... here are some pics of the bugger... I raised him from six weeks old to just over one year old before I had to give him away. He was a pure bred Lab... he looks innocent but boy was he the devil at times, lol... extremely intelligent... I dont think I can bear getting a dog ever again and have to part with them for whatever reason.

Sam at 7 weeks old.

Well at least he is going to a good home. I rescued mine from a 7-Eleven parking lot.

That was a good looking dog. Dogs have personalities just like people, I couldn't imagine the house without Rexy, he really is part of the family, and just like raising a kid.

yah he was a good looking dog indeed.... I dont think pictures did that handsome boy justice!

Dog's definitely have personalities.... Sam was just extremely playful and devious at times when he wanted to do something dumb, lol... he harsh knew to watch his back if he was up to no good... if you would catch him doing something he wasn't suppose to he would all act like nothing happened, lol.

as much as he was awesome he did have obedience problems though.... i really was the only one he listened to... the biggest issue we had with him was hopping up and putting his paws on everyone... we working on that at the time.

i say that picture of rexy in this thread... looks like a really nice dog!

Im just trying to figure out what my living situation will look like in the next 3-4 years (yah, right?) and figure out if I will have the lifestyle to have a dog again. I like big dogs and big dogs need open areas to play and what not so I dont want to get a dog and it have shitty life just so I can have one you know.

Our two little monsters, Chuck and Lil Bit. Most spoiled dogs in the damn world, but we love them.

The evil Dudley The Cat. After finding hair in my cereal, I decided enough was enough and the bastard had to go. Made the gf take him to Oklahoma to live with her mom. He better not make his way back here or he will get a shotgun blast to the face. I fucking hate this cat.

I don't know either. The bad part is that I'm the one that spoils them. I'd probably spoil a German Shepard though. It's just so hard to not treat someone well who is happier than all hell to see you everyday.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy them doggie beds....:roflmao:

I know how this goes.... but you have to not spoil them too much or there behavior gets bad and dogs are creatures of habit and training.... speaking of dogs bed's.... my dog ate 4 of them while I had him in less then a year... dumbass didnt understand that if he ripped his own bed apart he would have nothing to sleep on for a while, lol.... eventually he went for a while without an actual bed and then he understood not to the eat the fifth one... which lasted longer then the other 4 but eventually got eaten to and then he got no more, lol.

I feel you on that. I used to give them people food all the time, but I can't anymore because they seemingly throw it up everytime, or at least one of them does, but I don't know which one, so neither one of them gets it. It sucks when they are just staring at me wanting a french fry and can't get one, lol.

And I guess the beds are a no-go. The gf doesn't want them sleeping outside at night because they will whine. I'll have to figure something else out.
