All the shims I have seen were for behind the throwout bearing.

Got the clutch in. It seems to be working without the shim. But the test will be after the break-in when I try to powershift. This clutch is a grabby fucker.

mine got much better after about 250 miles and by 400 or so it was pretty easy to use.... still grabby..... but can be feathered

I'm sure it will get better, but I think I could learn to drive it just the way it is if I have to. After a few starts I was getting better at it.

Try to put some miles on it before you go to beating on it. They seem to last alot longer that way.

This clutch is a grabby fucker.

lol That aint no bullshit , I dunno if I just learned to drive a car with a grabby clutch or it softened up some but it seems alot better now that it has around 1k+ miles on it .

I've got about 700 miles on it now and it doesn't grab nearly as bad as it did. Not hard to drive on the street at all. I still haven't run it at the track so I can't report on how well it holds up there or not.
