I was planning on going to Countyline on Friday, but maybe I'll go up to PBIR instead. Paul's working on the suspension for me this week, so the car should be ready for Friday.

Im going Friday getting there early I hope . Hope we have a good turn out and that the weather stays cool . Its about time we get some of that cool air . Everyone should have personal best times .

My God do those Bogarts scream business!!!! Unreal.....

Now the other ones from the Wheels Boutique.........like Laura said, they must have been really pricey with a store name like that! LOL They look amazing too.

You have a well set up car.....really nicely done.

Thanks , the Bogarts are beautiful , the car has a massive tire out back its like 12.5 " wide looks like the car is narrowed , fills the wheel wells great.
Yeah the Vossen Forged wheels where pricey but worth every penny. I damaged two wheels leaving a bank drive thru , and the nice thing of getting them 3 piece was all I had to do was buy two new outer lips. If they would have been the regular Vossen Wheels I would have had to buy new wheels.

I used a set of 325 mt's and they hooked like crazy, did you run it yet?also if you go a 17" front you can only get a 26" tire.they look kind of small with the 325/50 IMO

PETE! What's up bro, man I wish I was still living in Miami so we could hang out! The car is looking AWESOME! Those wheels are breathe taking! One question though, what is a oad race road worthy center?

Went to the track, but I couldn't get more then 5 psi's off the line so my 60ft was only a 1.82 . Going back Friday and trying a different tune on the TB , if that doesn't wake it up Im just going to spray it off the line.
Well the reason for the 17" wheels is so that I can go with bigger brakes up front.

Those are stronger billet centers , they will hold up more then there regular drag only wheel, so they dont bend as easy. I believe they weigh about a pound more per wheel .
Good to hear from you Jess.

Hell
yea the 10.5" is the ticket...

:thumb:
no long studs required. They have road race road worthy centers with 60 degree tapered acorn lugs and the factory studs will come through them the required amount to be legal. Would I put hardened studs in for drag racing? Yes...and I did.

Not to steal any thunder from Pete but here are the fronts...

Wow.... I have found a new favorite black stang!!

Your ride should be running high 8s ;)

Ha , I wish would be nice , but this is a street car not a race car . My buddy down here Alex has a Silver Saleen , running a Procharger with a shot of nitrous and we have the exact same tranny. He has gone 9.20s at 147 with a 1.3 something 60ft .
He has that car dialed in with the guys from Mustang Specialties. Has made over 100 passes so they have that car working . From what I was told my car makes more power boost for boost , but mine is heavy as $%#^. Not to mention Im just starting to get the car dialed in I have about 8 passes on the car and still haven't made a full 1/4 mile pass. I would be happy with a 9 anything at this point.

Hmmm... sounds like another white GT that you used to own, eh? :naughty1: Remember when we had to stay the night at the track when your old car broke a axle at the line and we had to use Jose E's AAA to tow your car back to his house. That was the same day I realized those wagon wheels on my 03 Cobra were a large waste of cash. Ah, the cycle of drag life eh?
