Well since this is your welcoming thread. Welcome. lol. This is a bad ass thread and shows that this site is not like a lot of other forums. He doesn't even have an S197 and here the members are helping and giving info. Kudos S197forum members. Kudos. Now get that car and start modding! This site will dry out your bank account... lol.

yes yes i did have my flame suite on when i decided to join this forum. yeah i have a honda and i know many mustang guys wouldnt like that but everyone so far has been really nice and helpful. no i dont own one YET but hopefully i can close a deal on one soon with it being the end of the year and all. im just trying to learn about these beast of a machine before i buy it so i know where to start. like for example, my SI i know that car top to bottom, driver to passenger side, every brand, what they make and just a lot. I want to be like that when i start with this mustang but im having trouble understanding some of the terms but ill catch on.

and thanks for the welcome!

Give it time man. Just like you eventually learned the stuff about your SI, you will about the S197.

im hoping so. the one major thing i did notice is that everything is a lot lot cheaper! thats a good thing though and can u get your intake tuned and still use 87 oct at the pump? like do they make a tune where u can do that?

Hell yeah. Every tuner will at least offer 3 octane levels. I still have my Brenspeed 87 tune for road trips and use my BBR 91 tune everyday.

You will still notice a great improvement over stock with an 87 tune and intake.

I had Brenspeed, wasn't very happy with it and went with BBR. I only really care about the 91 tune so thats what I got from BBR.

I originally bought the tuner/intake package from brenspeed and it came with a 87, 89, and 91 tune.

yes very true and an H22? damn why not an F22 (s2000 motor) more potential there then the H22. and about the mustang i just want a white, red or black in 5 speed with leather and with the cluster on the dash with the screen under the speedo that has all the info in it. do u know what i mean by that? and maybe heated seats lol

Well if I would have gone with an f22 wouldn't I have to make the car RWD? Plus it was more simple to just drop in the H22 since its almost the same engine bay. IMO I would try to go for a white or black because red is an eye catcher with the cops. As for the cluster just make sure its a GT Preminum with a UIP (Upgraded Interior Package).... Or if you want alittle exclusivity then try to find a Bullit. I like the Highland Green color that pays tribute to the original in the movie but it also comes in black with all the stuff that you want and maybe H.I.D's.

x2 for H22, that's the way to go much easier. I wasn't too far from doing an H22 swap in a 5th gen Accord but lost interest.
