Beautiful day for working on the stang, got my Roush rear springs delivered Friday eve. and started on them shortly before noon today with a printed out install sheet from "TacoBill" which was righton and was done by 3.00. but I gotta say that inch drop in the rear did alot of good for appearance and for driving, The steering is improved as there isn't as much pressure on the front wheels from the stock rake and my rear isn't offset so I don't need n adjustable panhard bar. All in all a win win situation.

I know it's not a big drop but it's what I was lookin to get for my dd plus easy on the pocketbook so I can afford more perf. mods, plus they will probably settle in some more since thiss pic was right after lowering her down..

lol. i hate when people say these are like 4x4s or trucks. my truck (pic below) is a 4x4. i feel like my butts going to hit the ground in the stang after driving the truck. haha

Can't really see the difference but I'm sure it's there.

I did Bullitt springs in the rear and I could see the difference. I think that's only a "½ drop.

Car is level and looks great to me. :thumb: Are you going to drop the front?

I've got the Roush rear springs and noticed a .75" drop in the rear. I had to use a panhard bar to get the rear end centered though, driver's side rear was poking out a little.

Looks good, stiffens the rear to match the front spring rate, IMHO. Rear doesn't squat as much either, though I also added anti-squat brackets.

Did roush come out with a new spring?

A couple years ago, I laid out the roush rear springs I took out of my car next to a set of GT stockers on the ground and the ONLY difference was the roush ones were blue - no other difference at all.

It was some pretty pricey blue paint...:thud:

The difference is the spring rating measured in lbs. It takes 200 lbs to compress X spring one inch or 250 lbs to compress Y spring one inch, etc... Spring height has nothing to do with what the car will ultimately end up at (height wise).

Case in point. If you compare a rear Bullitt spring to a GT spring they are identical. Same height and color. Honestly, I thought I had gotten ripped off by a local member when I compared the two. I installed the Bullitt springs and it was noticably lower and the ride was indeed firmer.

I know, my point was the roush springs are just a little lower rate than the stockers painted blue and that can be found with other products a lot cheaper.

Roush parts are rip-off IMO.
