Well the car is pretty much done now. Just have to put the bumper back on it. Tapped the turbo today for the wastegate looks like the turbnetics turbo. Also got the MAF in the MAFia hooked up all the fluids and what not in it. Nothing is leaking so far true test will be when it's running. Here's what the turbo looks like tapped and the wastegate line hooked into it tell me what you think.

definately should have been easier to tap it there for the wastegate. Is that normal size vacuum line you are running in that picture?

yeah sorry just been busy with school and what not. The car is all back together going to go talk to the tuner on saturday to see about getting it done next weekend. Yes it is regular vaccum line in the pic and it was def. a lot easier there to tap hopefully it will read out ok. I do just have to wrap some of the piping up on it and get power to the gauges. I was suprised at how loud the KB BAP is. Also no leaks with the fuel on the injectors which was awesome. Hopefully I can post up some numbers next weekend.

It says like be real quite when trying to hear the buzz. My buzz was pretty loud. I'm stoked to I wanted 470hp on8 psi but I think I'll aim for 450hp so I don't get to dissapointed. I've been ready since feb. To hear this thing I hope it sounds good with violators.

Hellion says it's ok to start without a tune. Is it ok to start without a tune as long asno boost is involved, just to check for leaks.

i think so. at the lower end it shouldnt matter. its the timing and AFR up top that is the real stuff.

my brother offically sold the procharger and we will be starting on the On3 build as soon as it comes in... should be interesting... Mach 1 302 stroker 4V with 18* dish CP pistons @ 8.5:1 compression... talked to the guy that owns On3 and he said we should see 725/750 hp on the dyno with race gas and the boost cut up through the manual, prolly somewhere in the 600 range on pump gas... but this is just theoretically speaking... not sure what it is gonna do until its on the dyno...

Well the car started up and ran for about 2 minutes before I cut it off. Had about 3 leaks we need to get fixed, the downpipe and 2 underneath. Hoping the gasket maker fixes it for now. Also a slight header leak it seemed like and I couldn't get oil to go throw the lines to the turbo. You think that's because it was still up on jackstands.

Oil should be pumping when you crank the car, you can do it without starting the car by pulling the fuel relay to check for oil flow. Did the kit come with ss oil lines?

Not if you use Copaltite.. It is turbine splitline sealant, good for 1500deg and 6,500psi. It is not cheap, but does the trick. I stopped using Corning silicone a long time ago. With Corning 736, it doesnt even matter what color it is, the clear has the same properties as the red or black and 600deg F, that's it.

doubt it came with SS lines. the lines could be crimped?

Maybe, if they are rubber. to ther op i would def invest in upgrading to ss lines with a -3 an supply and -10 an drain you can part together the parts for 30-40$.
