Interesting to me that your husband has no interest in Camping/Fishing with you.

Luckily my wife and I both love it and go camping 10+ times a year, go to Alaska every other year for Halibut/Slamon fishing, and fish locally all the time.

I could not live with someone that has no interests in what I like. Props to you for that....

That sounds awesome.. but yea before I met him I was a VERY outdoor person whether it was walking down country roads, fishing in my parents pond, going to the lake, horse back riding, trail rides, 4-wheelin, hunting, I did all kinds of fun stuff! I just got so tired of these games with dating cowboys that I decided to find a city boy... lol Then when I did find a nice one I married him.
The ONLY thing we have in common is cars/Mustangs.... we don't like the same food, drinks, outdoor stuff nothing. :(
Its hard trust me!! I do get very depressed sometimes....

My dream was to have a small ranch or house in the country away from everyone.... with a farm and few horses... but instead I live in what I call the "city" in a small house surrounded by cars and very close to other people which I hate... ect.

Now Im a city boy who couldnt wait to get out to the country, feels like home to me more than the city ever did, and I lived in a big city until I was 37, hated all 37 years of it. Im blessed to have a wife thats into cars as much I am, she likes camping (REAL camping, not RV camping), shooting, fishing (although I do have to bait her hook if we forget gloves [bless her heart :)] I definitely married out of my league too. Still cant figure out what she sees in me, it sure aint the money, Im blue collar shes white collar. Give her shit all the time, jokingly call her "Miss Corporate" when I come home bitchin' bout the man.... I just LOVE some of her white collar reasoning about it too.

Seems to me that you need a different man.
IMO only..a woman should not feel this way
about her husband/companion.We all know
life is too short to miss out on better things.
People grow apart,it just happens that way.

Sometimes ex's turn out to be better friends.

Fishing = 1 jerk at one end of a wet string waiting for another jerk at the other end.
Me I love to hike in the woods and country. Camping is great as well. Drag strip and car shows are better.

Deep in the <3 of Texas!
Well.. I am just being honest. I work behind a desk alone 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I go home I tend to my animals, I sit in front of the computer for a little bit or watch tv, then go to bed. Wake up and do it all over again (but insert cook lunch and dinner for myself) ect.. and wash my car a few times a week. THAT IS ALL I EVER DO. I HAVE NO LIFE.

just being honest........... :/

So I guess I'm not the only one with a life like this. :(

No wonder I like to mod constantly. ;)

Huh.....she has no life. Try raising a kid. You just think you have no life now. Especially if you raise that kid by yourself.

Most states have laws requiring trailer brakes once a trailer weighs more than 1,000 lbs.

Why not trade in the boring husband on a more fun model? We all work lots. I work 55 hours a week, but still make time for the gym, gf, working on my hot rods etc... I commend you on doing your fishing thing by yourself. Take control and live life!

You are in prime country "East Texas" for outdoor activity. The car is not really able to structurely pull a decent size rig needed to be safe on the water, HP wise yes. Besides the maintenance/upkeep can be as bad as some folks moding their cars depending on the size of the boat. Believe me I have a bay boat that is just about the limit on what you want to deal with, unless of course it will be a life style and not just a hobby. If I was you try some bed and breakfast places on the east texas lakes and pull that hubby out there with you. I haven't known a person that once they caught fish, (which we call catching not fishing)or a big fish they were not hooked. Besides there is more to be had in the outdoors.

I can point you to a number of great spots throughout the US to go to depending on how much you want to spend. From the mouth of the Mississippi, west coast to east coast, all the way up to Alaska.

Ahem... what can be more dull and boring than fishing?

Ahem...does this look boring?
