Worked on the install a few hours on Saturday after work and finished it up on Sunday. Took about 8-9 hours total with a buddy & beer. Took my time and tried to enjoy the install (wife just left for 10 month deployment so trying to keep busy and my mind off things). It was a little more involving than I expected but it all turned out good. I wasn't a huge fan of all the cutting/grinding of stuff, but it had to be done...lol. The intercooler piping and modified upper radiator hose was a tight fit, but no rubbing in the end. Wasn't a fan of the PS reservoir location either. I don't like it sitting against my PCM harness. I may change that later on down the road.

It goes for dyno tuning tomorrow and I will post the results. Haven't beat on it since I only have a base tune right now. Sounds bad ass though. I know I am on limited time with the stock bottom end. Crossing my fingers that it will last a while till I can build a motor for it. I want to be around 475rwhp or lower.

Anyways, here is a quick video of it idling and a couple pics. Looks great IMO!

Congrats man and good luck with your dyno tune tomorrow!

I see you cut out the lower grill to expose the intercooler. I swear another member here has done that...:thumb2: Looks great.

No problem Tony, keep us posted on the results!

How do you like your RST? I just ordered one along with a Fidanza Billet flywheel.

Love it! Best clutch for these cars, hands down. You will love it.

Did you go with a mid 01-04 flywheel? I'd recommend throwing in a new slave while in there as well. I installed mine real quick while at work a few Saturdays ago...haha. Got about 700 miles on it and it keeps getting smoother and smoother.

A lift would make things much easier for me...luckily a member of my local mustang club has offered to give me a hand and use his lift so I may take him up on the offer.

I did go with the 01.5-04 flywheel. Its the new one piece that came out. Got an awesome deal from AJ at Amped...

Yeah I saw that deal. I was like damn, I just paid almost 240 for the 2 piece Steel Fidanza a month ago and then they came out with the cheaper 1 piece ones. Grrr, Oh well!

I honestly wouldn't even attempt it without a lift. Then again I am spoiled...hehe.

I felt the same way. Wish this flywheel was out when I got mine.

I am leaving right after work. Probably between 5-6. I am stopping in hampton to pick up a buddy real quick for the ride. He is expecting me around 7:30-8. He has a date with a cobra at 5:30.

Today is going to be a long day, I am anxious as hell...lol.
