Where does the sensor for the wide band go??

pulled out the sensor and let it hang in the wind like me.. turned on the W/B and held the button for 30-32 seconds.. closed everything up and went for a ride. while random driving it was from 23 to now I see lower numbers 12 and 13.. but when I was in 4th and went to WOT it stayed at 22.0! haha it did this a few times. I think Ill just wait till I get it fully tuned.. I think I'm running rich and I have not gaped the new ht0 and I'm pushing 13-14 psi. So much for plug and play... ahhhhhh

That would make me very nervous. If that gauge is even close to accurate you're walking a fine line between a healthy motor and one with a rod out the side of the block. 14psi is way too much boost to be taking a chance on the wrong AFR.

On a side note. Even Innovative doesn't know how to tune their own gauge. The instructions that came with mine state to hold down the toggle for 3-4 seconds. Yet when I pulled the online PDF is states 30 seconds as you guys mention. Gotta love that.

well the tune that I'm running was only 470rwhp at 13-14 psi. I think he lowered the timing or something. The tuner also didnt change to the 4.10s and the cvmc deletes.. so I left his shop with a check engine light after paying tons of $$... nice. Anway, I'll try it again tomorrow. I read that you can do the fresh air cal if you do it in the morning when that car has been sitting for hours. Since I have no cats it should be pretty fresh in the morning.

Mother F@cker.. Went through the whole BS(again).. now when the car is warm at idle it will be at 19-20 which I think is fine.. but once again I lay into it and get 22. There is no knocking sound. I'm just going to have to wait. I cant believe its running that lean.. pos... f@ck f@ck..

And to add to that I was going to gap my plugs but cant find the gaping tool. Maybe if Don and some of his e-thug buddy's returned the first one I bought and mailed to share, I would have a spare.. ohhh dont think I forgot.. its been what 4 years now... no one sent it back to me... See what I get for being nice.. always get the big hard shaft.. ahhhhhhh I'm done.

22 is wayy to lean at wot, I doubt your running that lean though. Might be a problem with the wideband O2 or the controller. I would return it to summit and get a refund. What was your afr when you got tuned?

its been a while but think it was 12 or something like that. The tuner put a real safe tune(the ass).. I had him build the engine and tune.. I thought if I get it all done at one place then I would be good.. well I had a 600+hp car running 470 to the wheels. That was a dumb assumption from me. I have the slowest 14psi mustang around.. even E-force stangs laugh at me.. I just cant get a break. =-/..

I sent summit a few tech questions.. it can take up to 3 days for a reply. As for returning it.. its a little late.. I bought it and didnt install it for a while now. If all else fails I have Ropers AED WB, but need to get the sensor from his car.

I'd agree. I don't have a tuner around who knows what he is doing to save his life. On one run my AFR was 15 to 1 , my car was blowing black smoke like a mofo. At 20 to 1 I doubt it would make it through a 1/4 mile run at WOT.
