Man this thing has some serious time n money into it. Cool pictures so far, i can't wait for the motor shots.

Fuck that... I want to see (and hear) it at the track! Can't wait to see some dyno vids!

aerospace brakes has a kit to change the angle of the pedal ( to fit these model cars) that gives leverage and causes the manual to feel like power brakes.

Dave, do you have a part numbr or link for that kit?![]()

This is also why I am going a little over kill on everything. Did I need a Danny Bee belt drive? No.
A belt drive will dampen harmonics from the valvetrain much better than any chain driven system. In addition, high spring rates can (and have repeatedly) cause the timing gear to shear the pin off the end of the camshaft creating all kinds of havoc. We typically double pin the cam/gear to avoid this problem (as Paul mentioned in one of his posts).I thought that gear driven timing would be better thena belt drive system? you know more robust/stronger less chance of getting out of time/breaking. but i could be wrong.
this is a nice build you have going on paul. good luck and cant wait to see it head down the track at famoso when you're done.
Love everything Paul except the shifter. I'd reconsider that Hurst.
