The stock dyno numbers seem about 10-15hp lower then others that we have seen including our own test car that SAE dyno'd at 373/353 bone stock. Obviously the test car was a 6spd as well as ours so I'm wondering why the lower base numbers.
I look forward to testing this CAI as well once its available.

Maybe I'm not reading something right, but how is this different from MMR's?? CAI with no tune and you're getting about 10rwhp or a 15-20hp gain. MMR claims the same and seems to be what you get with the intake only and no tune.
The problem I'm having with the MMR is the drivability suffers. surges and pulls sometimes. So what would this CAI do or have that is any different??? The MMR intake looks good, just got it to run correctly. I can't see why this would run any different. Am I missing something guys?

We were the first to install and test the MMR CAI and have not experienced any problems with driveability, however I was just talking to a Ford tech this weekend and there might be a TSB concerning the sound tube and a possible recalibration. If I were you I would cap off the sound tube area on the CAI and drive the car again to see if it fixes your issue.
Bone stock we went 12.70 and with the MMR CAI, tune and Gutted cats went 12.47 in much worse conditions. I do believe the MMR CAI helps but couldnt get back to back dyno sessions to prove it due to the computer pulling the throttle back. I have now found the possible cause to that and will be testing that theory soon.
