Only 1 I have right now ... It's in honor of my cousin, he always drew his initials w/ the "D" backwards and the "S" connecting. So this is what I had done:

Plan to get the other calf done soon, either when I go back to Vegas - or back to San Antonio.

here's my two tattoos so far eventually will turn them both into half sleeves.

here's a memorial to my dead friend whom passed away little under 2 years ago now in a motorcycle accident. it also was done on memorial day. it's a very meaningful tattoo for me. it's on my left arm just below the shoulder i want to put a dagger behind it with 2 cobras wrapping around the dagger.

here's a picture of my buddy it makes the tattoo make more sense.

i myself won't get a tattoo just cause it looks nice. i get them when they have a very special meaning to it. don't get me wrong people that get tattoos for the sake of the art is cool i love looking at a good tattoo and seeing all the detail put into them.

Actually I was Surprised at the number of people that have them.
Especially the Very Large Designs.

tattoos are making a come back and in a big way. i think people are being way less judgmental, mainly as normal people are now going out and getting tattoos not just gang bangers. the full body art started in japan. back in the day they used to tattoo inmates as they came in to mark them for life as an ex convict. well the ones mainly getting arrested were yakuza. so in order to hide the fact they got arrested they would get full body tattoos that would stop just short of pant lines, short of the long sleeve cuff and just below the collar line. this way they weren't able to be seen with normal close on. people figured out what the yakuza were doing so automatically tattoos became a thing that only the ex cons did, not because someone by chance like the artwork that they could have for ever.

[/end history] lesson lol.

anyways cultures change and they learn to accept new things over time.

No offense man, but I think it's funny you were ragging on me for being a FF & having a red car and then you go and get this!:poke::roflmao: I have been a FF for ten years and I will never get a Maltese Cross, Star of Life, etc. tattooed anywhere on my body. Good for you for being that passionate about it though.

i was just messin wit chu :beerchug2:. i get shit for it at work especially when i first got it. my partner wants to be a fire fighter basically got a half sleeve of irons and a huge celtic cross with fading smoke as filler. i thought that was a little weird as he isn't even hired on yet. course at least im not one of those douche bags that runs around with a ff sticker on their car driving like an ass wipe like the 90% of the people that work at my company thinking it's a get out of a ticket card.

I'm an RN. Actually a CCRN (Critical Care RN) and a Paramedic. But currently I'm not working in critical care, I've been working for the past almost 3 years as a Nursing Supervisor. I used to work in Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care and before that I was an ER Nurse at a couple of places, one being a level one trauma center.
