This set up is super nice and now available. I don't know if you guys have seen this set up yet but we have one here and will be doing the install if a week or 2 with a new engine on a customers ride. It's made by the supercharger manufactor and it's priced great. Check it out

Wow, that looks like a nice setup. I'm sure someone else will ask so, what's the price point on something like this?

how beef is the tensioner because the steeda one is way hard lot of spring pressure

It's basically a factory 03-04 cobra style tensioner. But if you look at the design using whipples sliding idler that takes most the load and tensions the belt with maximum wrap which will not over load a spring loaded tensioner

How does this work in connection with the 8-rib conversions that replaced the PS, crank, WP and ribbed idler? Or do you have to revert back to the 6 rib system for those components.

Also, are there any clearance issues with the hood?

I works with the factory 6 rib set up. It's an upgrade over the 8 rib. You would have to switch back because off clearence. There are no hood modifications needed with this kit :thumb:

I'm looking at running either 14 or 16psi whenever I build the motor. Do you think this kit will be necessary or can I run a better tensioner like the Thump RRR and/or an 8-rib setup to eliminate belt slippage?
